Native American Champion Concept
I'm not much of an artist but I had this really cool idea for a champion, and since there isn't really a native american/tribal character in the game yet I thought it'd be fun to share and maybe someone could design my vision and send me some art haha..
Anyways, he would be another young character, from a tribe that were the first settlers in the Freljord, and his great grandfather or someone along the chain was the chief or leader of this tribe. The name I came up with would be Itzel, the name in native american means "Unpredictable" and "Uncertain" so his nickname would be "The Unpredictable Calf," and as for the second part of his nickname, he has a companion, a remnant of his family bison, Sable.
I came up with a rough idea of Itzel's abilities would be like, and he'd probably either be played Top or Support.
Passive - Matterhorn - Itzel is accompanied by Sable’s remnant fragment. The bison will periodically stomp and pounce through enemy minion unit’s or monsters, lowering their magic resist and defense by 50% for 8 seconds. Additionally, Sable grants Itzel _+1% cdr for every 5 Armor _he gains throughout the game. Itzel’s ultimate can also be upgraded 4 times, Western Frontier is also only 4 charges.
Some of Itzel’s abilities will mark targets with Northern Glow, which will increase the damage they take from Itzel’s abilities and allow Sable to endure Matterhorn on them. When Matterhorn is inflicted or after 7 seconds, Northern Glow will fade away.
Q - Dream Catcher; Itzel can either target enemies, or himself and allies_(Cool down - 10 Seconds):_ Enemies - Itzel sparks the air around targeted enemy with light fragmentation, dealing 60/75/105/125/155 Magic Damage and increases Itzel’s Magic Penetration for 3 seconds. Allies/self - Sable charges to targeted ally and surrounds them with his remnant body increasing their Magic Resist and Armor by 20% each for 3 seconds. When Sable renders himself away from the target, he heals them with rejuvenation lake water, healing them for 95/110/145/150/165 health.
W - Western Frontier; Itzel calls forth Sable’s true potential. Sable charges in a direct line forward dealing 75/105/135/195 damage and activates Matterhorn on charged through enemy minion units or monsters. When Sable reaches his destination, he will remain there until the next duration of Matterhorn is activated, otherwise Itzel or an ally champion can walk to Sable’s location and ride the steed for 13 seconds, gaining +35% increased movement speed and +45% increased magic resist and can walk through units until Sable becomes and remnant once again. (Cool down - 24 seconds)
E - Northern Lights; Itzel is visited by a fragment of the Northern Lights that grant him ability to choose from (Cool down - 19 Seconds): The North Axe - Deals 100/145/205/265/305 Attack Damage to targeted enemy, and increases the damage they take from ally champions abilities for 4 seconds. The East Sunset - Deals 40/80/110/125/150 Magic Damage to enemies inside targeted area, enemy minion units and monsters are blinded for 1.75 seconds. The South Tomahawk - Deals 30/60/90/120/150 Attack Damage in a straight line, plus 10-25% additional true damage based on how many enemy champions are hit. Champions hit with Tomahawk are marked with Itzel’s Northern Glow. _The West Bow _- Itzel gains +40% increased attack speed for 4 seconds and +25/30/35/50/70 attack damage. Enemies hit more than three times will be marked with Northern Glow and slowed by 25% for 2 seconds.
R - Kaleidoscope; Itzel becomes_ untargetable and can’t move for the next 8 seconds._ Itzel sits down Indian style, and plays his spiritual flute, unlocking his most powerful spell, his Kaleidoscope, enemies nearby will be hunted down by remnant’s of Itzel’s grandfathers tribe called upon by Sable’s battle chant and Itzel’s flute playing. The tribe ride in on a herd of bison,_ knocking enemies into a circular prison_ with Itzel and Sable in the center. The knockback deals no damage, but the tribe start hurling their light fragment spears and various weapon into the pool of enemies, taking turns throwing in a line from random directions. Enemies hit by the first weapon will be dealt 250/350/450/700 magic damage. Each will decay the next throws damage by_ 50% damage_. After Itzel is done using his Kaleidoscope ability, the tribe scatters off, marking enemies inside the pit with Northern Glow, and casting Matterhorn on enemy minions nearby. The herd of bison can not be destroyed or flashed through but can be teleported through. Example - Ryze

W is not.(Cool down - 135 Seconds)
So thats about it, Riot has been releasing really unique champions lately and I think a champion with an E and a Passive this unique and hard to master would be REALLY cool to see, and plus they dont have a native american themed champion so thats two birds with one stone, plus, Sable would be really cool to see, i mean a friggin ghost bison stomping on minions and being ride-able would be sweet.
