STOP REWORKING CHAMPIONS RITO PLS

Please rito i have been playing this game since season 3 off and on and find nothing more frustrating than one or your favorite characters becoming reworked. I really don't understand the concept behind this to completely change a character because when you do that you take out a piece of the game that many people found interesting and attached to. A large reason I play the game "Off and on" and because of crap like this. One of my first mains, way back in the day, was Xerath. I loved the old guy and hitting the E into Q combo was so satisfying, but nope he got reworked. Later I started to main Viktor and even got my first Penta kill with him, but he was also reworked (given his wasn't very drastic). Then we have Galio which I used to reach Gold 1 with by only using him, but also reworked and into a completely different character too. Sometimes it wouldn't even be a rework on one of my favorite characters. Back in the old AP Sion days there was a player who only played Sion and was consistently in Diamond 1 and Challenger. Once the update on him occurred I checked his account and he had quit playing the game for months immediately after the patch. Now Irelia, one of my most played, if not my most played, champion just got completely changed. Like WTF rito. Why change characters? Just make a new champion please. You're taking a piece of the game out instead of leaving it there and adding onto it. Not every champion has to be "competitive", some people enjoy the less META champions because they provide a unique sense of entertainment that other characters don't provide. Think of all the abilities removed from the game that were iconic, Galio Ult, Zac Ult, Aatrox passive (its not the same anymore), Taric Ult, Taric stun, Sion shield/stun combo, and yes the entire Urgot skill set.
