Okay, picture the Lux ultimate skin... But it's Jax... And the pathways are weapons... not elements...

What if when he bought a final item, he switched his weapon to the item equipped in the #1 slot?
And if it had the appearance of armor, he would wear it instead.
That would actually be amazing.
He's getting an epic so you'd have to wait ~two years
As someone who has never played jax i'd have to agree that this would be a really great skin not only because its just innately good but it fits him thematically sooo well.
