Charred Maokai or Malphite?

The new VU for Charred Maokai does not look good in any way. Instead of looking like a tree charred by flames he looks like a rock with some fire. When I first saw the pics of the update I thought it was for a Malphite skin. It looks nothing like Maokai and is probably the most disappointing skin VU I've seen to date. Why doesn't he look like he's made from wood? Why does he look like he's a giant rock? The colors are off and he definitely needs some tweaks. Right now, the old model for this skin looks 1000x better.
