Talgimar, Master of the Elements
My idea for a Champion is an AP Mage/Bruiser. He will mainly be a carry but can also be used as a support if built correctly.
Passive- Earthern Vitality - After receiving damage from a critical hit, Talgimar beseeches the aid of the Spirit of Earth, gaining a shield absorbing ( Percentage ) of his health from both magical and physical harm.
Q- Firebolt - Talgimar conjures up the Spirit of Fire, blasting his enemies.
W- Slashing Winds - Talgimar requests the aid of the Spirit of Wind, sending gale force wind towards his foes. If hit, the enemy takes damage and is launched backwards.
E- Water Spout - Talgimar unleashes a geyser of scalding water, launching enemies within the inner circle skyward. Upon landing, the water freezes, slowing enemies within the outer circle.
R- Elemental Mastery - Talgimar summons all 4 elements, combining them into a massive sphere. Enemies withing the inner circle are damaged and stunned. If no enemies withing the inner circle are hit, the sphere continues through the map, dealing massive damage to the first enemy hit but not stunning.
This is just an idea I came up with while bored. I figure it need some tweaking and these abilities actually changed a number of times before my final decision.
Lore- Born in the foothills of mountains in Ionia, this hermit knew nothing of the comforts of the city. He was raised in the woods by his exiled parents and forbidden from entering the city. Living off the land came easily to Talgimar and his connection with the earth became stronger as he grew. By the time he was a teenager, he had such a strong connection with the earth beneath him he felt as is he could almost control it. After a gang of bandits took his parents from him, Talgimar was left to fend for his own. Building on his connection with nature, Talgimar would meditate for long periods of time. One day while he was meditating Talgimar had a vision of a cave full with magical energy within the mountains of Ionia.
Following his vision, Talgimar ventured up the mountains in search of this cave, in hopes to learn the ways of the elements and protect the land that he loved and survived off. Talgimar's journey took him three years of searching. Running low on supplies and unable to find food or water in the treacherous mountains, Talgimar collapsed, broken and defeated. He awoke days later in the cave of his visions. Surrounding him were druids wrapped in fur and almost glowing with energy. These druids, known as the Druids of Old, knew what Talgimar had sought and taught him how to control the elements. Talgimar studied under these druids for 20 years, learning everything the druids knew of the elements. The druids told him of a power hidden within the waters of the cave that they had searched for, for many years. The powers were thought to be the powers of the elements themselves. The Spirit of Earth, Spirit of Fire, Spirit of Water, and Spirit of Wind. These spirits had the ability to grant immortality, young age, power, and wisdom. In search of these elements Talgimar dove in the waters.
Years passed and all the Druids of Old died. A young boy and his father were taking refuge in the cave during a storm when the waters began to boil. The two went over and peered into the water and saw a man, bare and with hair the color of flame, floating in the water. As they pulled him out they noticed runes on his chest. One for water, one for fire, one for earth and one for wind. They clothed the man and when they awoke the next morning, he we was no where to be found.
