Co-existence of Champions [New Idea]

When a new version of a champion occurs, the old one will disappear. However, there are many summoners who still love to use the old version of champion. For example, Sion. So, I suggest that we can sustain both of them in the game but to separate them into different icon. In that way, we can have both version of Sion that we can use. This move can protect the interests of all users. In fact, I am the user who loves the old version of Sion. It is pity that I cannot use it anymore. So, let's see what people think about my suggestion.

Its an interesting idea, but ultimately broken. Sions old kit is gone because of the problems it had, and the same goes for champions like Karma who underwent very similar, if not exactly the same treatment. Old Sion made no sense, and was unbalanced. He was half AP, half AD, some things cost him health, others cost him mana, etc. His stun was arguably the strongest single target stun at his peak, and its AP scaling was ridiculous. This caused a lot of people to go heavy AP instead of the tanky bruiser killing machine Sion is thematically.

It would be interesting, however, to see champions have alternate move sets, perhaps, that focused on a specific part of their playstyle, kind of like what MKX is doing now. I doubt this could, or will be done, but its interesting to think about.
