Champion Idea: Shadow Isles Marksman Aradiz
So we have all heard of Marksmen that fight the undeath but I can't recall any real shadow isle ones aside from Kalista. I wanted to introduce a concept I thought of. I hope you like it and please leave me some constructive criticism if you have any :) I have not included many numbers due to me not being expierenced in balancing. Manacosts, total damage, cooldown, etc. are still to be added. I mainly did this for the lore and the concept :)
Basic appearance: Black and White face, like a sceleton facepainting, glowing light green eyes, long black hair, carrying 2 Blasters with soul energy in them, an old gold necklace, very thin
Full Name: Isaac Aradiz
Abilities: Passive: ** Reaping Resonance: Whenever Aradiz crits his next auto attack fires a long range blast stream from Aradiz. Every unit hit by this takes damage (Basic attack damage plus 60% bonus attack damage) Every champion hit generates 10 Soul Power. Can store a maximum of 100 Soul power Q-Abillity ** Soul Blast: Fires of two midrange streams that if aimed at eachother create a stronger straight blast, lasting lightly longer and knockig Aradiz back slightly. Single blasts stop at the first Unit hit, combined blast deals 20% less damage per Unit hit (minimum of 60%) in 2 waves. Soul Blasts Cooldown is lowered for 1 Second for every critical strike W-Abillity _Taste of Death:_ Passive: every killed unit generates 5 Soul Power _ Active:_ Toggle: consumes 20 Soul Power for a guaranteed critical strike plus a minor slow E-Abillity Backfire: Aridaz gains +50/55/60/65/70% Movementspeed and his next basic attack cannot crit, but it knocks all enemies back in a small cone in front of Aradiz. If Aradiz has more than 50 Soul Power he reduces the resitances of the targets hit. R-Abillity Spiritual Overdrive: Active: Consumes 100 and causes an explosion around him, fearing all targets hit and allowing critical strkes to deal true damage for 6 Seconds
Lore: Isaac Aradiz was once a brilliant mind of Piltover, designing powerful weapons. Once he heared of the mystical weapons of Lucian, he decided that he must join the adventurers fighting back the undead on the Shadow Isles to discover more about them. This is where he met Shauna Vayne, she too was driven to the Shadow Isles but not to find out more about Lucians weapons, but to aid him in his fight against the darkness. Aradiz soon developed a crush for the strong willed Night Hunter and decided to help her with his inventions, but she refused to use any weapons but her own. His missing knowledge of the dark creatures on their path to Lucian proved to be a great burden on Vayne because she ended up saving him and putting herself at risk.
To make himself useful he started analysing the dark powers of the undead, seeking answers for their powers. With every step closer he gathered more and more knowledge and became more careful, using his energy blasters to hold the undead off until Vaynes silver bolts killed them.
As they finally arrived at the side of Lucian and a couple other people fighting the darkness of the Shadow Isles, Aradiz was often only deplyed to fix other peoples machines and weapons and barely got to research at all. The others told him that he was too much of a burden on the battlefield and should remain in the camp as he was not a fighter.
frustrated by never getting the chance by the cold and bitter Lucian to properly inspect his weapons and the rest doubting him constantly he would have left long ago if it wearen't for Vayne who seemed to be the only one holding him there. After asking Lucian multiple times he agreed to let him research his weapons if he were to train with his blasters to become an effective fighting part of the team.
As time went on Aradiz developed his very own fighting style involving huge blasts that cleared massive amounts of undead even though he did not have any purefying element in his energy blasters. The only problem was, that this fighting style cost him a great amount of energy and the blasters would not be able to substain that sort of fighting for long. Aradiz then tried to develope a prototype, where he tried to fuel the blasters with the energy of the undead themselves but it never seemed to work.
A few days and a few experiments later, Shauna Vayne had gone missing on her last mission and everyone feared her to be dead. However Aradiz who was now a more or less full member of the group convinced a hand full of people to look for Vayne with him, despite Lucians warnings that that part of the forest held some of the most dangerous undead out there.
With Aradiz being determined to find the one that was so dear to him, he kept in mind everything he was tought and tracked her down. To the surprise of Lucian and the others, Vayne had still been alive and was tied up on an old tree. As he rushed towards Vayne she shouted to him not to come closer, but it was too late. Aradiz and the others walked right into the trap. Undead swarmed the area and on the horizon he saw a creature he only heard legends of: The lich Karthus.
Aradiz and the others were able to drive a lot of them back, but one by one they fell until only Lucian, Vayne and Rardiz remained. While Lucian was focused on bringing down the death singer, Vayne and Aradiz stood back to back killing dozens and dozens of undead. Aradiz and his newly made Soul Blasters saved Vayne multiple times and he could not ignore that he aparantly started to impress her. Maybe today he could finally prove himself to her and win her for himself. As much as he liked that thought, his weapons were not yet capable of using enough undead energy to fully substain them and slowly they lost their energy. In a moment after Aradiz held the undead in front of Vayne away, she tumbled towards Lucian, who ordered them to run away for now. Aradiz however could not escape in time. Grasping skelleton hands held him, tearing him to the ground. Lucian was urging Vayne to run and leave Aradiz behind, but Aradiz was certain she would not do that, after all they have been together. Sadly he was mistaking. Vayne and Lucian left him behind not even giving him one last look.
Aradiz screamed out in pain and rage. He felt betrailed by the women he cared most for and risked everything for. Jus as he thought the skelletons would tear him to pieces. They let him go, forming a circle around him. Opening up to the side of the infamous lich. "I do not fear you." Aradiz yelled. "You have nothing you can take from me that they haven't yet! All I have done for them, learned for them, all for nothing! If you kill me right here, right now. Promise me one thing. Kill them to! Kill all of them." Karthus came closer, his melodic voice replied: "You are a hateful one, young human. Very interesting. What are these?" The death singer asked, pointing at the Soul Blasters. Aradiz explained them to him and how they were unfinished. Without a word Karthus led Aradiz to the black mist. The same black mist that once reforged him. "Step into the mist, my friend and you will find the answers you seek for in death. For as long as you serve me, I shall grant you the power to your desire vengence." Aradiz did what the sweet voice of death told him and as his new master was before him, he was reborn.
Now he is known to roam the Shadow Isles seeking for those who fight the undead and destroying everything in his path with the power of the souls of the dead.
