I like the direction that Essence Reaver is going, less of an adc item and more of a bruiser item, but I feel like it could be turned into a true bruiser item if it restored something like 1% of missing health on hit and gave health instead of mana. Now of course stats would need to be moved around but I feel like bruisers need something like this.

When I said more of a bruiser item I meant more towards that direction, my bad for not clarifying. I meant it gave me an idea for something like it, or like I said just changing it, because as of now bruisers are still absolutely terrible and with the way bruisers are intended to be built (health and damage with a little resist) it would be beneficial.

It's not intended to be a bruiser item. Thus should not have it's fundamental identity changed to fit a class that has a wealth of items to cater for them already (seriously, they have their pick of tank and damage items, in addition to several of their own unique items).
Also bruiser/fighter champions aren't doing bad right now at all, making up 8 of the top 10 best picks for top lane.
