Urgot Visual and Gameplay Update?

I was thinking that Urgot really doesn't make sense as a champion. He's a scientist that keeps himself motoring through Frankenstein like science and yet, for some reason, he has acid, acid-seeking missiles, a shield generator, and a switcheroo machine. Thematically he is all over the place.

I actually enjoy playing Urgot. My favorite thing about him is dueling with people. His 15% damage reduction makes me win lots of trades because people don't account for their damage output being so low. Mana, Cooldown reduction, armor penetration, and a ridiculous amount of free armor + MR from his ult.

So I figure if he was ever worked on it would be in a way to try to flesh out what exactly he is. Something that just won't die but also is a scientist: smart, electrical, savvy.

So some idea that fit this theme:

His E could be an electrical tracer grenade, rather than acid, that would functionally do the same thing as his acid grenade.

His Q could then be a tesla coil. It hits targets in a line skill shot but if the grenade hits someone it allows the electric pulse to arc to them.

His E, a shield is sort of un-imagintive. It's fine for what it is, but would be nice if he could do something else to be the "Dr. Crab Frankenstein." I think the electrical spell effects would really push home a theme for him even without a kit change. All his abilities do the same things, just with electricity instead of acid.

Have you actually read Urgot's lore? He was never a scientist. He was once a berserker who would tear into enemy lines on the field of battle with no regard for any injuries he sustained. After that, for a while, he became the High Executioner for Noxus and was eventually dismembered and left for dead by Garen. They brought his remains back to Zaun, where Pididly did some bio-necromantic mumbo-jumbo and turned Urgot into the ghastly four-legged thing he is today.

He's not particularly happy about it, either, with only the thought of being able to get revenge on Garen keeping him going.

That said, I imagine his eventual relaunch will have a completely different lore, since his current one is basically a worse version of Sion's.
