Late night brainstorms

Playing league has always been loads of fun for me. I have loved learning each champion and making it work for me, figuring out the best use. There was only ever one thing I wanted that I don't get from playing and that is the intimate relationship you develop with a character when you see them go through hardship, like a book or storyline-based game. I spent forever thinking of ways to develop that type of connection with the character when last night it finally hit me at 2am: why not HAVE character comics?

Just like DC and Marvel, all the characters from LoL could totally have a fun back story and stuff. And it could progress even, starting with when characters came out being the points in the comics the new heroes or villans appear. Maybe im just that crazy guy who thinks too much but I thought it seemed like a cool and good idea. Thoughts?

I was just perusing around the Boards like I do here and there when I saw this. Now, while I may not be an artist, so I can't exactly create fancy, well-drawn pictures like that of a comic, I've always been told I've had a knack for writing. So, I have been putting my story-telling to the test in something I've been working on. Eventually, I will have a 3D model representation of the character (still not an artist, but trying my hand at it), but for now, it's all narrative.

Something I've always loved about League is the lore. I was quite upset when the original lore was retconned, so that unique, direct player-game influence is not exactly there anymore, but I think the character I've been working on is still quite compatible with the new stories unfolding.

So, before I write a giant page and bore you here, I'd just like to show you the story I've been working on that is essentially what you might be looking for, only, sadly, without illustrations. Hopefully the written details will make up for it, and there is still so very much ahead story plot-wise.
