I'm not 100% sure on this but the characters from sesame street may be public domain. But it's disney it's nearly impossible to get them to open up the rights to their characters to a outside group. They sued kindergarteners for printing coloring images off of the internet.

Even if they couldnt get the license... I would buy a "similar" looking skin of monsters ink :P

maybe just call it Nunu Incorporated, and make him all light blue and fuzzy with the horns and put the little guy in a purple worn costume... super dooper close but not necessarily fringing copyrights :D

Nope, they are trade marked characters, its simply that the Sesame Street Workshop is a small non-profit organization compared to the very large, for profit Disney.

They have Chosen One MasterYi. Which was from Lucasfilm, but technically now Disney, and they aren't sued for having that skin.

People always assume they need to get approval for the IP. All they need to do is make a lookalike with similar names, just like Cookie Monster Nunu...

This happens to be for Annie/Tibbers as is evidenced by 1.) The File Name and 2.) The flame in Boo's hand.
