Skin Boost, feeling cheated

Recently began playing LoL again after a long time away and notice the Skin Boost button. Tool tip says that you get a skin and IP boost. After what feels like as many as 20 Skin Boosts later, I notice I dont have the skins anymore, turns out they are not permanent. If they are NOT permanent, the Tool Tip should say so! I feel this was intentionally misleading to get people to spend RP on essentially nothing... Other boosts in the store have time frames stated, Skin Boost should too.

If not corrected, as a result, I will not be buying another $100 worth of RP when mine run out.

Why did you actually expect that you and your whole team can get a skin plus IP boost for just around 100 RP?

riot made it very clear that it was temporary upon releasing it. Not to mention the idea that you can pay 100rp for a skin for your entire team and an ip boost is ridiculous. I don't think riot needs to clarify things like this because you made a stupid mistake.

they kinda did mention that this boost would last only for one game... i guess they should change the name to "Skin boost for this match" or something

LOL. Yeah, there's nothing that needs to be corrected here. It's a skin that cost 95RP and comes with an IP boost for that match. It's clear that they aren't gonna be permanent.

Because, I just logged in after a long time (possibly a year) away and saw it. I read the tool tip box over it and it says you get a random skin. it does not say temporary. with just that information I dont know how else to interpret that... Read it yourself, and not considering your previous knowledge how would you take it to mean?
