Skin Trading System

League would benefit from a skin trading system. Possibly as part of the current Hextech crafting system or a new system all of its own, but League needs a way to trade unwanted or unused skins. This may seem like an odd addition to League, but with bundles and mystery gifting/boxes, a player’s collection of unused skins tends to add up. With a system allowing players to trade away the skins they are not as fond of for skins they actually want, this would not only increase player happiness but also increase mystery gifting sales. A trading system would exponentially increase the value of mystery boxes as no matter what skin was received it could be used for trades or in-game.

Of course, there would need to be limitations to prevent exploitation, such as a maximum of 3 trades a day or so many trades per person and traded skins could not be traded again for 6 months. Skins given for good behavior or Riot events would also be excluded from trading. It is understandable that a system like this would take an extensive amount of work to be implemented, but I do believe that it would be well worth it for both Riot and the player base in the long run. If you agree or have any suggestions, please leave them in the comments below!

*Skin values would be determined by the players so as to not limit trades by original RP price.

*Legacy or limited skins could be traded at the player's own discretion as once traded, the skin is gone from the player’s collection.
