what do you think about garen update ?
in this patch 5.16 garen is so powerfull and his abilites deals early game dmg if someone agree with me let me know

He won't be picked believe me, I played in him PBE before he was released, he's absolutely terrible.
The "early game armor/mr" was a bad mechanism that doesn't help against his counter picks, or anyone that can poke him out of lane. Because if he can't CS, he can't gain armor or mr. That's a problem, an his "start w with five pot cloth" tactic before to fight rivens or any hard Attack Damage is thrown out of the window. (AN the fact that his tenacity on W active was shot, he can't chase nearly as well. An CC is now a HARD counter to garen. Stuns, Blinds anything except slows [For the most part] cripple Garen terribly.)
His Q hard nerf is worth complaint when it's practically the same thing, except it a lower silence AND the move speed duration was lowered.
An how everyone is like "Man, his spin is SO strong now." Should really think. Unless you're playing against a potato, wearing two candy bracelets, you are not going to kill someone, let alone a TEAM of enemies. It does 33% less damage if you hit TWO or more people. TWO. And since he can't break Hard CC anymore as well, stun him, and you can avoid all his spins ticks.
AN his stupid passive on his ult. It's a nerf. I don't care what people say, "OMG you blow up squishies! What are you talking about." Yeah, I could do taht before, no problem since I could hide in a bush and jump on them with a flash Q, 2.5 sec silence W to not be CC'd, and E the ENTIRE duration without worry, and Ult and still run away with my life. Especially with Deadman Plate + Randuin's for slows for days.
New garen, "Oh garen has the mark on me?" "Guess I got to ward and keep a tab on him, and CC him or kite him since he can't hold me down anyway... Oh, he was against Teemo/Riven/Renekton/Nasus (yes nasus rips him apart now)/ Darius (Who is broken as all hell)/ Maokai/ Rumble/Sion/ Vayne/LeBlanc anyone with Range or CC fought him top? An he lost because he can get his passive on his LANER UNLESS HE FEEDING, and lost lane. An he's talking about his "Late Game spike". Yeah if he is 0/10 where would his late game come from?"
They turned garen from a flexible champion with a early game fight potential to become a threat late game with his advantage of beating most laners. TO a UNRELIABLE okay late game champion that can be stopped with ONE pick or a aggressive laner.
I been a garen main since season 3, got to gold with him this season alone. with a 8/5/7 average an a 70% win rate in 50 games. Garen is done, his winrate gonna plummet. RIP Garen 2010-2015. RIP Riot gutted you and left you to die.
he is easier to kite post rework since they nerfed his silence, his movement speed buff, and removed the 30% tenacity on his w active. Just get used to the fact that you have to respect him now and cant just outdamage him while sitting in his spin when he catches you in melee range. Yes, he deals a lot more damage. Riot also made it easier for you to kite him, maybe play around that.
Yeah to be quiet honest I felt he was fine before the buffs. He didn't fit into every single game, but the games where he was a good pick he was strong. Now that they have buffed his damage and given him more early game armor its more feasible to build more AD and be a threat outside of his ult. I have a feeling people are going to cry about him soon enough; if not immediately perhaps at some point after a pro picks him and shows the world.
I think it's funny that they are giving him his old W back after taking it away for so long. But then, this is what happens when you balance around a meta instead of balancing around the champion pool.
What once was old, now is new. Riot cannot balance correctly, it's true.
