Previous Versions could be a breakthrough (IDEA)

"I have been a League Of Legends player since the beginning of the dinosaur ages, aka, when it was just starting off, around 2010. I loved the game. The graphics and overall display of the whole game gives me such a nostalgic feeling, with the map update, I felt like I lost that. This email is asking if there will ever be an update to let us experience what us older player once felt, and give the newer players a new experience to feel what it was like being us. For this to happen would make millions of new, and old players happy. I am not a complete tech nerd about downgrading or game design or how hard it would be to do this, but I bet it can't be too insane. So, all I ask, is to let us play older versions."

     This is the email I wrote directly to the League of Legends support email. I was told to post it to the board, and so here I am.

As stated in the email, the idea of a retro 2010 version would be absolutely amazing for new and old players. For the them to experience league like they used to, or for new players to experience it like they never did before. I don't know much about hardware limitations as for this situation, but I guarantee there is a version 1.1 out there somewhere in Riot Games. For them to release this to the public could be an amazing breakthrough and bring the league community back together as we once were. It's quite clear that League Of Legends doesn't have as much of a fanbase as it used to. There's more toxicity and overall negative response then there is positive in the community. That is mostly because of change. Change is always controversial, may it be a bug fix, or a champion rework. For example, the map update was a HUGE update that was controversial. Me, myself, even was against the map update, with no way to change back unless you get a third party software, which can lead to problems. For us to be able to go back to what was possibly an extremely buggy and glitchy game, but experience the nostalgia we once did, would be amazing. And the new players could understand why us older players loved it so much. The overall feel of the older character design and map design feels so great to look back on. There may be some problems here and there, but I hope it can be released one day. But hey, I'm just a player, I'm no Riot employee with complete power over all updates, so this is just an idea.
