Kindred Skin inspired by The Legend of Zelda
Kindred Skin Ideas Hi all, the name's Parelion! These are two skin design concepts I created for Kindred some days ago! I posted them on my Twitter and Tumblr, and I thought that maybe I could post them on this board too (I hope this is the right section), because I saw a recent post (some hours ago) that suggested a Majora's Mask skin, so I thought "Why not posting it here too?". I'm copying the text from my original post. The idea behind Kindred, personification of Death in Runeterra, is amazing, and from the concept of masks, I came up with skins inspired by “The Legend of Zelda”! The first concept is “Majora’s Kindred”, inspired by Majora’s Mask. Being Lamb and Wolf the “peaceful” and “violent” death, respectively, I gave them masks that could reinforce this idea, so Wolf gets the scary Majora’s mask ( http://gsoul.wpengine.netdna-cdn.com/wp-content/uploads/2012/12/zeldamask.png ), and Lamb the Fierce Deity, used by the hero of the story. The Lamb look is inspired by Fierce Deity’s appearance, with some tweaks to the armor, that couldn’t be complete. The arrow is inspired by Fierce Deity’s Sword, but the two parts are separated ( http://vignette1.wikia.nocookie.net/zelda/images/2/2a/Fierce_Deity_Link.png/revision/latest?cb=20100124002042 ). The iconic “You’ve met a terrible fate, haven’t you?” quote, from Majora’s Mask, looked perfect for the theme. The second one (that you can see in the link) is “Twilight Kindred”. Here, Lamb is inspired by Midna, “Twilight Princess”’s companion ( http://vignette3.wikia.nocookie.net/zelda/images/8/8f/Midna_2.png/revision/latest?cb=20090725164636 ), while the bow is inspired by “Skyward Sword” Sacred Bow, but with different colors that recall the twilight style in this Legend of Zelda game. ( http://vignette1.wikia.nocookie.net/zelda/images/f/f1/Shadow_Beast.png/revision/latest?cb=20090513002822 ) I hope that you liked these skins, I had a lot of fun drawing them, and thinking about the connections I could insert to the original games.
