Poppy's Rework and concerns about her identity

Ever since the Poro King mode I saw Poppy appear as the face of the latest reworks.

I'm for a Poppy rework, her visuals, audio, and mechanics are very aged......

Champs I've played in the past that have been reworked already had an identity, Heimerdinger had a conservative area control playstyle with turrets and he was improved from being a troll pick to being widely accepted.

This is beyond the typical " the ult and passive are going and this is happening"

This is generally about how we as Poppy mains have come to enjoy playing her as a role WE defined - Tank/Bruiser/Assassin

I'm afraid that Riot is has turned a blind eye to how we play Poppy and are only going to make her to fit in with the rest of the typical top champions.

I fear that I'm going to come online one day and find Poppy has been transformed into the Yordle version of Kayle.

In my perfect world I'd like to see Poppy voiced by Maryke Hendrikse * she voiced Revy from black lagoon. I don't have any specifications of the skills but I want to see her remain high burst / high late game. overall I know her ult and passive have to die so lets bury em and give her a different ult and passive that supports a similar play style -> run in kill a target and run away. and visual wise I would like Poppy to appear cute, yet angry.

RiotScruffy said they are keeping Heroic charge virtually unchanged, so I'm happy. If they make her visually similar to the new Tristana model, but a little stockier, that would be good (has to keep the pigtails though).

Key things about her identity that 100% HAVE TO STAY:

  • Ability to build a wide variety of items and succeed with them (AP, AD, tank or carry).

  • Being the number one Siege Breaker in the game.

  • Extreme hyperscaling in whatever role she is.

  • Her, "I don't give a damn" attitude.

  • Her hammer and Pigtails.

  • Her football tackle (already confirmed to be staying).

  • Her aggressive melee play style (pretty unique amongst all the Yordles).

  • Her "small package but hits like a truck" gameplay.

These things are in my opinion the core things about Poppy that make her distinct from every other champion or Yordle. If Riot manages to keep more than 6 of these things in her Kit, I will be very pleased with them.
