Yorick New Ult Idea

I always was interested in Yorick and his theme of a gravedigger/commander of the undead and I was thinking of potential abilities for a him and this is the ultimate I came up with.

The River Styx:

Passive: After unlocking this ability yorick begins sending all the souls of fallen living creatures to The River Styx. Not all souls are as equal in power and strength so Yorick gains a different amout soul charge for each living creature following this list; Half a soul for minions and monsters. One soul for large monsters, champions, and dragon. Five souls for elder dragon and baron nashor.

Active: Yorick calls upon all the souls captured in The River Styx to return to the mortal realm attacking all nearby enemies (prioritizing champions). Each soul slows the enemy hit by 1% to a max of an 80% slow. Each soul also deals 5/7/9 damage scaling with Yoricks attack damage. For every enemy champion killed Yorick is refunded 5% of his spent souls.

Obviously this ability would need to be balanced. It may not fit the idea that riot already has for the (hopefully) upcoming Yorick rework but I would love to see an ultimate ability based around charging it up for long time to then releasing a massive devastating ability that can change the tide of battle or be wasted completely on nothing.

The concept is pretty simple but it feels like you just ripped out a page from Thresh and Veigar's own stack gag and turned it into a massive blast cannon. Sadly when stuff like this is not properly have a cap put in place, it gets plain ridiculous, still would like Thresh to get a penalty for 'dying' via losing half the souls or so, considering how powerful his armor and AP gain can get from those soul farming in the late game allowing his capability to pull shenigans like AD thresh more easily on top of his little 'wind up damage bonus' he can pull.

-First of all, you would need a 'radius limit' for Yorick, meaning only minions/champions who die within a distance of him would 'grant souls'.

-Second it should work more along the lines of a stockpile setup if it wants to be kept as some super powerful ultimate that requires more then just mana and a target to be launched off, either in the following ways: A. Depending on how much of a stock built up, various other effects are added to it (Such as Armor/Magic Resist reduction, Slow and possibly throw in Grounded too for the hell of it), but if it follows that case, it should work more a support ultimate(meaning powerful effect instead of dealing direct damage) which can effectively turn enemy champions into slow moving target dummies, maybe even add in a 'plague spread' mix in where it will spread to other enemy champions if they are close enough to the 'target' its used on while its in effect. Meaning it becomes a target spell which can put a debuff on a enemy champion that would have extra cc'ish effects based on the total stock (ranking the ultimate could include decreasing the required number of required 'souls' to proc each different effect on the next use of the ultimate), effectively becoming a good measure to lock down a over powered, over fed or killing spree maniac of a champion and shut them down, with the 'plague' bonus being a measure to force the 'cluster fk' strategy where teams would roam and blitz lanes insanely fast via mobility effects, get shut down just like how champions like Brand, fiddlesticks, the new ryze does now, Varus and any other champion with abilities that can do powerful bounce damage or harass.

B. If it follows a damage concept, you could instead go with where the 'affected' champions are basically 'put out of combat' in a semi'suppressed state and they gradually take damage while 'semi suppressed', where they can't use abilities, actives, summoner spells or recall, but they can move and can't be affected by other outside things(such as champions attacking them) until they 'swim' by moving their character outside of the circle area. The 'soul stock' could instead be used to affect how strong of a slow effect(with a slight slow that is constant even when 0 souls are present in the 'stock' before the ultimate is used, consuming them all once used) would be applied when any enemies are within the field. But of course to prevent abuse, only the 'champions' that were in the area on activation would get 'sunked' into the Styx in a sense, Any enemy champions that walk on the 'pool' instead would simply be slowed by say half the slow effect any 'sunked' champons are being hit by as long as they are in the 'pool area'.

In addition to the 'pool drowning idea' it could work with a small wind up and have a relatively middle sized area for the 'marking' area and then expand slightly if it manages to catch a enemy champion, placing them right in the middle of it to try and 'move to shore' and escape the pool before they get murdered.

The very least, in either case i feel at the very least both these 2 concept ideas based on you using a 'soul stock system' for a ultimate, could be interesting measures and they could be fairly scaled well since the latter could be a % true damage over time so regardless of what champion the opponent is, even 'tankErNaut' typer champions could get mowed by it. While the former would put almost any champion in a very bad spot to get shut down when they are snowballing in laning or team fights too easily.
