I know that things on the pbe are always tentative to change and I just want to come here to speak out and say that you should keep the name dauntless. It has so much more of a creative and elegant vibe that challenger just does not fit and also the name challenger I'm sure would lead to a lot of confusion with those who are newer to league. I am not trying to make a riot out of this (hue hue) like what happened to the whole graves cigar thing but please do consider this. (The reason I left that link in the post is to show that I am not the only one who likes the name. Just check the comments.)

Absolutely not. "Dauntless" is not a good title. I hope they keep the change.

I thought it sounded silly from the start.

I'm not sure if anyone else did this, but in one of the original threads about the skin, I suggested that the name should be "Challenger" or "Newcomer" instead of "Dauntless." The story that the skin team wants to go for is the beginning of the new season. Something that is dauntless doesn't really signify a beginning, but the latter two names do. Newcomer is pretty self explanatory, whereas a challenger is seen as someone new starting out and completely contrasts someone who is part of a championship.

However, I am curious about the change. Riot KateyKhaos did say she feared people would get confused (as did I). I am wondering if the color scheme (and potential skin announcement) will help clarify that it is completely different from Challenger tier.

All of this is my opinion, as I did NOT like the name "Dauntless Ahri," but there are people like yourself that do, and that's cool too! I'm glad you made this thread and I'm curious as to who else agrees or disagrees with the name change.

I'm not a fan of this . I think the legs and the boots look odd.

also Ahri needs a more sexy skin not one with more armor

I loved the old name.... I wish they would've kept it, i'm not going to buy the skin if they keep "Challenger" Ahri. It's so plain and ... well.. fucking stupid.

I found Dauntless to be a bit odd myself. I'm liking the new name better, as it fits with the start of a new season because she wants to challenge her odds.
