Addition to the Definitely Not Blitzcrank Skin

So, the whole concept of the "Definitely Not Blitzcrank" skin is pretty simple, it's Blitzcrank disguised. I'm advocating a minor addition to the skin which should be extremely low-impact.

How about something like this?

Middle Summoner (Ahri): Nice job on that dragon! Support Summoner (Not Blitzcrank): Beep boop.

So the idea changes the tag after the summoner name from (Blitzcrank) to (Not Blitzcrank). What do you guys think? I tried searching the forums if someone recommended this and didn't find anything.

While I don't like the precedent it would send, I love the idea too much to oppose it. Just this once. Just for the fine gentleman who's certainly not a robot of any kind. I like the cut of his jib.

It isn't even setting a precedent or just this once. It'd be the second time (at least) since Anivia's name in chat changes to Eggnivia if she's in her egg.

Mega Gnar isn't a skin, which is my concern. Skins generally shouldn't change champion tags any more than they should change champ portraits on the minimap and the like. Too much burden of knowledge.

The difference is that Eggnivia is a mechanical effect, as is Mega Gnar-- it's actually important to know when those things are happening. Allowing skins to change names in chat would, as The5lacker said, be a pretty bad precedent to set. I'm sure there are skin names out there that are either too long or too confusing to be reasonable.

That's a valid point, and I can understand that. The reasoning I'm campaigning for this skin in particular to have this change is that the skin is supposed to change Blitzcrank's identity. I might be missing another one, but the other skins still retain the idea that the champion is indeed the champion if that makes any sense. A skin is usually a descriptor and then the champions name, such as Dragonslayer Pantheon. Pantheon may look different, but he's still the same lovable war-hungry warrior we know. Definitely Not Blitzcrank is a different look, and the idea behind it is that Blitzcrank is no longer Blitzcrank.

Identity changing aesthetics in other games usually change the name as well, such as Eddie Gordo and Tiger from the Tekken series.
