why is there no champion, champ ability, or item that drains the enemies' mana bar? everyone is so focused on doing damage in some form or another and they are asking for stuns, silences, disables, etc...
why not an anti mana support champ
strong against mana dependents, weak vs attack speed adc and no mana bar things like aatrox and lee sin.

It's dumb, all you have to do is buy mana pots and suddenly the ability isn't worth anything. Also, considering if you do it right, almost an entire team can be without mana, it seems like it could be countered easily.
That sounds super boring. And Riot already said they thought about making a champion like this, but they didn't because there is no fun to be had for your enemy if you can simply prevent them from using their champion. It would be like Teemo but much, much worse.
