New Game Mode: 100% AR 5v5

So in this, everything that you would normally choose in a summoner's rift game, would be completely random. There would be all random champs, all random sums, all random runes (it would choose a random rune page), all random masteries (you need a minimum of 5 mastery pages and it will choose one), it would give you an all random item set, and if possible, a random skin. This would be just like ultimate bravery, but it is more intriguing, interesting, and exhilarating. The best part would be is that you will not see what champs, sums, item set, etc. you got until you are loaded into game. If you play 100% AR 5v5 I GUARANTEE you will be in one of the best ride or die games of your life where you could either win or lose. The outcome all depends on how lucky you are with the 100% randomness. This game will make your blood rush like auto attacking a full tank with ninja tabi as an 0/7 adc.

well yeah thats how AR works but like, the item sets aren't made to be like, competitive , they're made to be fun. like full movement speed or full tank on like a squishy, just fun stuff

I think it might get a bit out of hand and would be really really one-sided most of the time. I like the general idea, but I don't think your concept would work out too well.

Why stop there? Give everyone a randomly assigned summoner's name, club tag, and ability order as well. And for the love of God... Unlock all the champion pool for everyone so that it's actually random.

Easy enough fix for the items would be to assign items a % chance of being bought/built for each champion, and then, randomly build something you can afford when you back/die.

For example, if you are playing Jinx, she does technically have an AP ratio on her traps, so any AP items would have a 0.5% of being bought, while any AD items would have an ~90% of being bought.

As for boots, once you buy a set, the % chance to buy the others drops to 0%.

Yes, and have it randomly choose 6 items (boots incuded) and just randomly by the components for said first item, then 2nd.

Tbh I don't know if this would be good. If you get stuck with a shit item set (something like AP zed), you'd have to play for like 20 minutes with it. Just wouldn't be fun.

i did put a lot of thought into this. it's not only random champs, its random everything. its definitely something that could really be fun. i'm saying you shouldn't put in a whole lot of thought analyzing it, its meant to be fun for all, not to make people want to stop playing.

then add the item set? its the random items that makes it fun. that't the best part about ultimate bravery and would be the best part about this. if you've ever done UB, the item sets aren't always bad. They're usually fun to play with. this could be a really good idea.

I think that they should imply a common item set for the champion, so you dont get something that doesn't correlate with the champion at all, like a ap zed

Clearly you have not played AP Zed before then. Well ok I haven't either, but I played AP Draven which is arguably even worse since you don't benefit from Magic Pen. Honestly pretty fun.

How about no items? Just a regular AR 5V5 with no runes, items and masteries, just champions' kits and a few balancing tweaks to adcs and mages maybe to make them more dependent on levels in this mode.

I would hope for a slight order to the madness. Spending an entire game with item 3006 item 3117 item 3009 item 3111 item 3047 item 3020 as your items would be so, so bad. Not likely, but you get the idea, getting completely worthless items is just going to make for a sad game.

On the other hand for runes and masteries- I think you need less order. No rune pages- no mastery pages- random that up entirely without your consent.

The random item set part would make it unbalanced way too often. If you remove that, the game becomes balanced and fun. I like the idea :)

Maybe 10 items selected, and you can only build out of them. Could also bias towards existing kit ratios. Or use pre-build item sets (on hit, tank, AP, Utility, etc) with different variants.

I think an option of something like 10-15 completed items in the shop would be cool instead of just a random 6. While everything would be random, this would reduce the chances of things like full AP Vayne.

I think it would be interesting if for the items, it gave you all Random basic items (like cloth armor, long sword, rejuvenation bead, etc.) and you are NOT allowed to sell them. You have to construct your entire build based on your basic items.
