Legacy skins

This is something that has been in my mind for a long time now, but whenever I had the urge to express my feelings on the matter, I just brushed them aside because I felt like my opinions would fall on deaf ears and would be to no avail, but the recent Pantheon rework has rekindled that desire in me so I wanted to give it a shot. So I wanted to talk about legacy skins. First of all, I get it, they're unavailability is meant to enphasise their rarity and thus value, but the way I see it, riot is limiting many players from having access to some of it's best content, yes, something as "small" as a skin can be game changer for people who trully enjoy video game design and aesthetic. Also, It seems very wasteful to have a lot of skins out of reach for the players, especially when riot likes to advertise and ecourage people to play certain champions. Take Ryze Ryze for example, one of the OG champions, who's been featured in a lot of promotional artwork for the game, cinematics (including one dedicated to him), and has received a lot of reworks and tweaks over the years which all seemingly shows that riot has a special "bond" of sorts with the champion, well guess what? Our blue-skinned mage has a total of 10 skins in the game and only -3- are purchable on the store...3! And they're some of the better looking ones for that matter. Most recentely, the Pantheon rework and it's new skin designs, two of them in particular, in my opinion, are absolutely gorgeous looking! Well surprise surprise...they're legacy skins...the game designers went trough all the trouble of creating something fresh and aesthetically pleasing only for a few people to enjoy while the rest of us are left to gawk at them. I don't belive I'm the only one who feels the same, and that's why I am creating this discussion, the way I see it, It would be in Riot's best interest to give players a chance to buy these skins, they're a company, and allowing people to get their hands on good looking skins only seems profitable, especially during a champion's new reworked release. And I highly doubt riot wants to keep these skins rare for the sake of the people who invested in them back in, otherwise streamers wouldn't have every single skin in the game unlocked for them for free. I am not saying they should be purchasable for the whole year, but making them available from time to time moderately doesn't seem excessive to me, and spares people from having to buy multiple chests on the hopes of getting the skin shard they wanted amidst a sea of many other champion skins (including those of champions they don't even have to own) , ward skins, emotes and orange essence.

Actually a large number of skins were originally vaulted because they were considered to be lower in quality when compared to newer skins. They didn't want they readily available in the store cause they just didn't feel they'd be worth it and would take more sales from newer high quality skins. All legacy skins are still available through chests, rerolls, mystery gifts though, so it's not like there isn't some way of acquiring them.
