How are the winnings of worlds skin pick

Do the winners pick their fav champion or riot gives them a list to pick from. And does that mean for ex. faker picks riven for a the skin will she get it or not because of arcade riven just came out.

They pick a champion that was used in at least one game and basically Riot's design team takes it from there.

Actually starting with season 3 the winning team got to pick from any champion, that why pawn and faker got talon and zed instead of the champions from the last game of the finals

If they did where they choose the champs from the last game we would have SKT T1 Jax Jarven Gragas Corki Zyra SSW Singed Jarven -Again- Fizz Twitch Thresh And to be honest I have no idea what would happen if SKT wins again more skins i guess
