A concept for people who DC or are unable to connect to a game

Perhaps give a message to a team that there was an error for a player on their team that didn't allow them to connect so that they don't complain and 9x report them for something that they're not a cause of. Instead of doing that for people who don't deserve that, leave that message for them so that they can understand. Also reducing the impact of the temporary bans.

Another thing, if you don't want to have teams to just 4v5, add a sort of Bot Substitute to take control of the AFK champ to at least have some 5v5 impact. It may not be much but it can still be helpful to keep the game at a 5v5 feel. Paladins has a mechanic like that so that players don't have to suffer an AFK player in their team.

There is no way to tell if the player didn't connect intentionally or because of game/connection problems
4x5 games are already solved by remakes, Unless someone left later, in which case bot will only make it worse by feeding gold to enemy team or baiting allies for a losing fights

But if they don't connect at the start of a game due to a situation they'll be reported for not connecting and be unjustly banned. What if you wanted to get into a game but your internet went down during the loading screen? You wouldn't want to get reported and banned for something that isn't your fault.

If your internet goes down once a month, you wouldn't be banned for this If your every 3rd game you can't connect, you probably should stop playing until you fix this, 1 remake is around 10 minutes wasted for 9 other players.

On the other side it would be easy to "oh, there is that whatever champion counterpick with 1.5M mastery points, while my teammate is on a losestreak, lets just simulate internet disconnect and lose nothing"

Remember a few years ago when the Servers went down and some people couldn't get into games? Yeah some of them, including myself got banned for 2 weeks because I couldn't connect to two games and this was before we were told that the servers were down. You gotta stop seeing criminals inside of people and see the victims that they are.

I don't remember this, but last couple of years if there is mass disconnect problem on a server, there is "Loss prevented" after a game. When last patch was released, I had a couple of times when my game wouldn't open after pick stage, leaving me with "your game is running" and no way to reconnect. i wasn't banned for that, didn't even get lowpriority queue.

Victims will check a custom game after their first disconnect, and will stop trying to play until its fixed after second one, they won't get banned for this even if 9 other players report them. Unless it happens regularly, in which case its intentional

Yeah, every champion should eventually get legendary skin, and VS skins would do nice for them
