Akali or Volibear

i can't decide who to buy! I really do enjoy doing a lot of high burst damage but at the same time, i end up dying before i can get my burst off so i like tanky champions as well. Please help me decide who to buy :) much appreciated

I mean they are good for different situations. Akali if you want to go in kill people, and lots of them really quick. Voli if you want to have fun supporting , flipping adc's, or ganking lanes.
