[Champion Concept] Tao - The Blue Eyed Demon

About the concept: Hi, so i was thinking one day about making a new champion for league of legends. So i started thinking and i came up with the idea of having a champion having to rely on his teammates so he would scale into a late-game monster. Also i had this idea of a soul contractor, a demon who will take time from your life to grant your wish. Long story short, i came up with this monster, and some interesting ideas for skins and some champion interactions.

Q: Essence Drain - Mele ability - Tao marks and enemy with a demonic rune which steals during 4 seconds, 5/6/8/9/12% of the targets maximum health and actual mana.
CD: 7/7/6/6/5 sec.

W: Soul contractor
Active - Tao creates an altar which remains active for 3 minutes. His allies can summon him once every 240 seconds. Max 5 Altars active at once on the map. They disapear after they are used. CD: 45/40/35/30/25 sec. Passive - After and ally uses the altar and channels for 3 seconds, Tao is cleansed of any crowd control and gets teleported to the altar which was used to summon him. The ally will lose 15% of their max HP and Tao gets healed for that ammount. If the heal exceds Tao's 100% he gets a shield for the exceding value that decays over 8 seconds.

E:Grasp of the Underworld - Tao strikes the ground under him with his fist and corupts the a small zone around him with demonic aura for 4 seconds. Staying in this zone will heal Tao for 1/2/3/4/5% of his max HP over the duration it is active. Enemies standing in the zone will take damage over time, 2/3/4/5/6% of their current HP every second. Around the small zone, there's another larger circular zone which slows enemies and if they stand in it for more than 3 seconds they are dragged by a demonic hand into the small zone and get stunned for 0.5 seconds. CD: 16/14/13/12/10 sec.

R:Blue Trace Active - For at least 8 seconds, Tao's true form is revealed. He grows wings, claws and becomes completly black, only his eyes remaining unchanged, which will leave a trace while he moves. In this form, his basic attacks become instant dashes to the enemy target from a maximum distance of 800 units. Every kill during this time will reset the ablility active time. CD: 120/100/90 sec. The cooldown starts after the active time of the ability ends and is reduce by 0.5 seconds for every basic attack against an enemy champion/turret or epic monster. (Herald/Dragons/Baron)

Passive - Tao gains 20/50/70% attackspeed and the targets hit by his basic attacks are affected by fright , a debuff that makes them deal 5/10/15% less damage to him. Tao leaves a blue trace behind him while moving/dashing which grants allies 10/15/20% movementspeed. Tao can no wear heavy armor because that would make him imobile. All armor/magic resist items only award 50% of their actual stats.

No one knows the real name of the blue eyed demon, but not few offer a part of their life in exchange for his services. Any kind of job, the demon accepts the deal when the contractor offers him some years of his life. Some say that he was a mercenary long, long ago and he continues to do his job even from his grave, others say that he's a Demon from the Underworld and other are just terrified to speak his name. Very few even remember him today tho... Old scrolls talk of him as a bloodthirsty demon who takes the side of whoever summons him and offers him their life essence. In one of these scrolls i found the possible location of one of the altars used to summon him in the past. After a long journey to the Ionian isles i managed to find the location marked on the scroll. It seemed to be nothing there, until i found and entrance to a cave. I lit my headlight and went in searching for clues. After a while i ended up into a small chamber, with some strange runes on the walls and on the ground. The scroll didn't say anything about this, so i tried understanding the runes but i couldn't recognize even one of them, although on stood out from the others. There was an eye shaped rune which was carved in the stone deeper, right under my feet. I sat down and tried to find out what was so special about it, it kinda felt familiar to my eye... YES, after some minutes i remembered finding a scroll in the archives of the buried empire, Shurima, when i was investigating the location of these forgotten altars. The scroll had the same rune written on it. I quickly opened my bag and drop everything out from it, i found the scroll i was searching for. The scroll said something about a blood sacrifice that had to be made to lure the demon. After a moment of hesitation i took out my knife which i often use for lock-picking and cut a straight line in my palm. I then proceeded to squeeze blood onto the rune. Nothing happened... i was almost gonna lose my hope and leave when a dark figure appeared from the corner of my eye, and then disappeared before i could turn my head to see it clear, a strange blue trace was still visible but it was fading away. I followed the trance frightened of what i could find at the end of it and before i could reach that point everything went black. I woke up in the cave with a sealed scroll in my hand. I opened up the seal and looked at it, the ink was my blood that was used to summon the demon, i quickly read the scroll, and feel a bit relieved. I just made a pact with the demon giving up 3 years of my life so he would protect me during my expedition through the Shadow Isles.

When i got out from the cave i was greeted by a weird looking teenager, his hair was black and long way to the bottom of his back, he was wearing dark ripped clothes, and over those a drak grey cloak which look like it went trough a lot of battles. Also a pitch black scarf was covering half of his face allowing me to see only his eyes, two blue eyes which i felt were looking right in my soul. Before i could ask anything the boy said:

        " At least ! Something to do ! " 

I was confused on who he might be but now i was sure! He was the demon! Who thought a demon could be so happy for being awaken from his sleep. He came to me patting my back and whispering:

         " Take care of that contract, i don't offer refunds"

He wasn't as terrifying as i thought it would be. After that we headed to the port and I had to buy and entire ship cause no one was going to help us get there. During or voyage he told me about his past. He was originaly a human which summoned a demon to save his friends from certain death during the great plague. The boy ended up sacrificing his whole life, but unfortunately for the demon he wasn't going to quit life that easy. All it took was a moment of distraction and the boy slit the demons belly open. This would even matter if it were just a normal dagger but it was a sword made out of black runestone with powerfull anti-demon runes all over it. The boy was prepared, he stole the sword from the royal palace and faced the demon. Little did he knew about demons though, cause by killing the demon and having its black blood on his hands burning his skin, he damned himself to an endless life of solitude taking the demon's place and becoming one himself. The dark blood entered his body and after some minutes of excruciating pain he felt relief, but before being able to get up the pain came back. His skin was turning pitch black, his eyes became red, his hands turned into claws, horns grew out from his forhead and a pair of wings emerged from his back, he felt a huge bloodthirst and almost killed the friends he just saved by sacrificing himself. He regained his consciousness right before bitting one's head. While trying to resist the hunger his eyes started to drip blood, and his eyes regained their original color altho it seemed they were new eyes, ones a demon would look trough to see someones life directly.He let his friend down and took flight from there in an instant. His blue eyes, the only thing that remained from his former self was the thing he would be remembered for...

Without a purpose in life, not being able to get back to his friends without scaring them, he started accepting request from people who seeked his help by offering their lifes. In time, he learned how to control his new body and powers and even learned to make himself look human again. He trying finding his friends, but he didn't realise that even tho he didn't look like he aged a bit, his friends were long dead... Realising this made him lose any interest in living. He was only waiting for his next summoning. During the years less people would know about him, many forgot his name or even that he existed. And that brings us to this day. He hasn't been summoned in about 200 years and he was realy happy to have something to do than having to deal with lonelines even if it meant killing someone. But this was soon going to change when on the Shadow Isles we meet another demon...

Soft movements and and an angelic figure which would make you ignore the nine silver fluffy tails... Exactly! This was Ahri, the nine tailed fox demon who steals her targets youth. I was almost gona fall for her charms if not for my new friend saving me. Although she ran away, and nothing else was threatening us, he look very thoughtful, he even asked what i know about the fox-demo, so i told him everything i knew, even about the Summoners Rift and the fights between the champions there.After hearing this from me his eyes lit up and with a grin on his face, almost an evil smile, he asked me to help him join the League of Legends and become a champion of the rift. This would be the day, Tao, the Blue Eyed Demon would start his journey of becoming a champion.

While in normal form Tao will use his black runestone dagger to basic attack, in demon-form he will use his claws.

Tao is a high-reward brawler - lategame carry - which relies on his teammates to summon him so that he gets more AD with every conjuring. He can be played on the toplane altho his jungle clear might actualy be good too. His kit doesn't scale with other stats. Tao main damage source will be the basic attacks and will sustain trough a fight using his abbilities and lifesteal. Altho he may look ferocious he can't realy get close to you without his ultimate. That being his powerspike. His playstile will me mainly passive until his ultimate ability gets off cooldown. He is a tankshreder with his abilities dealing MaxHP% damage, and ballance between being a sticky assassin with high mobility and being able to be kited easly. The main counterplay would be playing around his powerspike. He also can not be played as a tank because of his debuff not allowing him to get 50% of any items armor or magic resist.
