[Champion Idea] Alberich, The Greedy Elf

So I have been fantasizing (if you will), about this Character.

I read about him in Richard Wagner's Der Ring des Nibelungen. His background is an Elf who is the leader of a Tribe of many more elves, who guard the Treasure of Nibelungen. His story isn't as deep as Siegfried's but it made me ponder.

I started to give him a more depictive approach, and wondered how he looked like. At first I imagined the Ears (duhh, elf), but wanted to imagine him, how he would look after he got the power of the Golden Ring from the Rhinemaidens.

I thought apparel, so gave him a cloak, and an attire similar to those of run of the mill thieves. But I also wanted him to have a weapon, and not just a sword (Kinda like how Jinx asks Cait about her other guns) but also a Black Claw on his right Hand.

I also Imagined him with the ability to be invisible in the Shadows, but I have no idea how to incorporate that into LoL.

Anyway, instead of drawing him with words, There's a pic a somewhere...

Now let's move on to how he fits into League: Story-wise, I wouldn't really mind as long as he doesn't make his way into Piltover if you know what I mean (also keep him away from HexTech and anything having to do with technology). What I'm more concerned with is how he actually manages as a champ, I haven't put much thought into his quotes, but I do know for sure that he has the following traits:

• Cunning
• Sly
• Never worried about whichever situation he may come across.

I also have some excerpts from his conversation with the Rhinemaidens from his own story.

1. All the world's light shall be mine! The golden ring is mine alone! You will curse your loose lips for eternity, Rhinemaidens!
2. All the world's light shall be mine! The golden ring is mine alone! Your love is not what I seek, Rhinemaidens! Hand over the gold!
3. All the world's light shall be mine! The golden ring is mine alone! Only in my hand shall its full power be realized!
4. Only I am worthy of the golden ring, of the light of the world! Let it be cursed so long as it is not on my finger!

Also I want him be a fighter type kinda like Machamp (jk lol, rofl, GG 20 surrender)

But srsly, I feel he has a resemblance to that of Riven, in which she doesn't use Mana, and uses her Sword or Ki for her Abilities. His Sword doesn't have to be Original, but his Right Hand must be (get it? cuz that joke sure ain't original) in how he has the Claw thing. Call it what you will, it's still a right hand.

Basic Attacks: Perhaps he could have a trademark 1, 2 combo with his sword and then for the third hit it would be an Attack with his Claw.

Passive: Gripper

Every attack with his Claw, gives the effect of bleed and sight for X seconds

I was thinking, because in My Imagination, he always kills and slashes with his claw, it only make sense to bleed. But the sight would be some sort of magical ability he has on his opponents.

Q: Grasp

Alberich lunges towards an enemy and attacks with his Claw for Physical Damage

Yea, the title of the ability isn't so great, but the mechanic is simple, it's just a lunge. Maybe later on if he's not too OP from his Ult, we can make it so he also can lunge to Wards and Trinkets.

W: Greed of the Ring

This ability grants magic damage with every attack with his claw

So I don't really have an idea for his W, so for now it could something like Vayne's Silver Bolts, where it's just another passive Damage ability.

E: Tarnhelm Cape

For X seconds, Alberich becomes Invulnerable to One Attack

So this could be similar to Fiora's Riposte, except it blocks ANY attack within a period after Activation. But here's the catch: it's just an undeniable Parry. But maybe for balancing, we could make it so, if no attacks hit the Cape, the ability goes into a REALLY long cooldown, but if hit, it's a MUCH shorter one.

R: The Demise of Nibelungen

Alberich attacks one Enemy Champion at Basic Attack Range with his Claw, dealing Major Damage and if the Claw (Not the bleed effect) kills, Alberich gains one Ring Stack.

Pretty straight forward, almost like Chogath's Feast, Alberich gains a stack with gives him +10 points in Damage and Offense stats, for a maximum of 5 or 10 stacks. Also if anyone can come up with a better name for the Stack that relates to his lore, that would be great.

Also, if anyone can come up with a better Idea for the stacks, that would also be great, including you Riot

Combos:

• Maybe Alberich can land a Q(The lunge) to an enemy Champion, and then Immediately Execute his Ult, or perhaps before throwing out the Ult, cast the Cape to protect from CC or any other Attack.

So what do you guys think? I know not too many People have even heard Richard Wagner's Opera Cycle, but I think he would make a great addition to this game due to the Champions not having Complex movesets like in Smash Bros. or Street Fighter.

Also if anyone can come up with Better Names for the Abilities, Champion Title and everything else with Unique Names in it that also have to relate to his lore, I will credit you for life, and be your whatever if we ever play together.

I don't exactly know how Riot's way of balancing is, so I purposely didn't include Numbers in the Abilities, just so Riot can use that to balance But in my opinion, I feel he is a little bit Underpowered, so maybe we can buff his Ult stacks to bring him up or something.

So after eating some Chocolate Cake, I was thinking of some new names for Alberich, like maybe Holder of the Ring and then I thought, why not make one of his jokes a reference to Lord of the Rings, just something I wanted to add.
