Keeping the mobile support concept rolling: Chantor, the Weather Maker
I bring to you an idea I came up with for a champion. I don't have the numbers game or lore down, as Riot will obviously be the decision makers upon that. However, without further adeu I bring Chantor.
Chantor, the Weather Maker
Support/Mage
Lanes: Support with ability to be played in mid lane or for the daring, top lane.
Visual concept: a male figure whom rides upon clouds and uses weather to his advantage.
Skins: I see fit for seasonal skins, meaning his base skin will be him on the clouds and abilities using clouds. However, a spring themed skin that utilizes thunderstorms, and a winter skin that utilizes snow storms/blizzard. I figure Winter Wonderland and a nice fit into the Fisherman Fizz, Angler Jax combo for the spring time skin.
Abilities: mind you these are conceptual ideas that will require tweaking and adjusting, but something generally along the lines of the following:
Passive: "Billowing Strikes" - his passive causes each champion auto attack to stack a cloud upon the enemy champion, with each stack reducing the champions vision/blinding them for a % with each stack. If the target is not an enemy champion, the target will receive a debuff that stacks to increase damage taken with each spell by a %.
Q: "Call of Storms" Chantor will call for a weather effect (based off the skin used) and lets go of this energy in a straight line in front of him which does base AP damage that scales per level, and slows the targets hit by a % for 2 seconds. This will be a skillshot.
W: "Circle of Darkness" similar to Veigar's stun, this will be a bit of a spin off. Chantor calls for a storm to attack a target area (much smaller than Veigar's aoe) to which the clouds engulf the targets affected, blinding them (similar to Graves) and stunning them for a short period of time (Riot can decide how OP or not OP that can be). This will be an AOE stun that will have a charge up like the recent Veigar stun, which I presume as a small storm forming from the sky and falling down to the ground.
E: "Swift Winds" Chantor will call to aid his allies in the clouds and the target plus caster will receive a small shield as well as a diminishing movement speed buff (mobile supports are a thing people).
R: "Weather Advisory" (Riot can rename if they feel something better fits). Chantor channels his inner being and covers the rift in a haze (or thunderstorm/snowstorm which I presum to be similar to Nocturne uor, but wait there's more...) Chantor will use this energy to channel a 4 second casted Teleport to anywhere he sees fit on the map (no vision needed, global ult) and will then channel all the energy with him when he teleports, and when he lands he will have an AOE damage for a few seconds using either the clouds or lightning clouds or snowstorm (again, building off the skins here).
That's it. I believe Chantor has great mobility, the necessary amount of CC as well as peel, and still can put out some damage (nothing like Sona, Karma, Leona though). Let me know what you think! Open to criticism but remember this is a concept forum.. I'll leave it at that. Add me in game @ Rewch if you would like to discuss further.
Thank you! Rewch
