Gabriel, the Mage Hunter
(Note: This isn not the complete package. This is just the simple bones of the thing so I can add more and more things to the page) Overview: Gabriel is a vengeful man who has lost his family to the misuse of magic. After making a dark pact with the being Aatrox, he has been on a hunt for vengeance, against mages and the Darkin. In game, he is an AD assassin who excels against targets with more AD and AP. He is a very strong jungle pick, for his good mobility and use of the Devourer enchantment, then mid is another great place for him since he can deal massive damage, but his main weakness is that it is a ranged-focused lane, making him easily poked out. He can top, but there are more tanks, and less people building AD and AP.
Stats: Attack Power: High Defense Power: Medium-Low Ability Power: Low Difficulty: Medium
Appearance: Gabriel is gaunt, yet determined Demacian man in leather armor. He has dark brown hair with red eyes. He has some stubble, and he has a grim but determined look on his face. He is armed with two swords, containing the two spirits of his daughter and wife.
Abilities: Passive: No Remorse: When Gabriel is attacking a unit, he gets more attack speed the less health it has. If he attacks a new unit, he will have the attack speed of the old unit for a short time.
Q: Whirlwind: Gabriel dashes a short distance, damaging all enemies hit, doing physical damage. Targets hit will be slowed and take magic and physical damage over 2 seconds, either one doing more damage based on how much AD or AP they have.
W: No More!: Gabriel clashes his twin swords together, creating a spell shield that, if popped, will silence the spell caster, and give Gabe a short movement speed boost.
E: Reave: Gabriel becomes untargetable for a split second, then blinks to a target he picked when he activated the ability. The target's armor and magic resistance is reduced based on Gabe's AD.
R: Darkin's Slaughter: Gabriel calls out to the Darkin within him, gaining a massive attack speed boost, short dashes when he auto-attacks enemies, lifesteal, and additional damage per hit based on the enemy's AD/AP for a short time. If Gabriel kills an enemy during the duration, he gains a few more seconds of the buff.
Tips: Playing As:
- Try using Reave's untargetable moment to evade skill shots and avoiding large amounts of damage
- Having snares and stuns on your team is useful so you can pull off more auto-attacks in a team fight.
- You become one of the most difficult people to kite in the game when you are ulting. Use this to your advantage against marksmen!
Playing Against:
- Gabriel can hold his own in a duel, try to not fight him alone.
- Even if he is naturally a bit tough, Gabriel as an assassin can be bursted down before he can land a single blow.
- Try building more resistance in lane against Gabriel, he will do more the more damage you build.
