Personally Ascension is one of the best game modes available in league of legends. It is both fun and an quick game mode to play with friends. The map and the pace of the game is amazing and combines a false sense of security, because you never know what's not to far from you. I believe that Ascension can be an independent game mode and be permanent mode like ARAM. You may not agree with me, but i believe that creation of an permanent Ascension gamemode would benefit league of legends tremendously. Another permanent game mode would be nice to prevent League from degrading down to just "SR and distractions from SR." Unfortunately, Riot thinks that League should be synonymous with SR and thus barely supports the existing permanent non-SR maps. Riot even removed Dominion after neglecting it for years, and Treeline seems to be going down the same path. A new permanent game mode is really unlikely under these conditions.
