Champion Concept - Seque & Grabstein
Concept: a champ with a permanent pet with independent control
Now let me address this first YES the abilities can be OP if scaled incorrectly but main thing I'm for here is the concepts that i think would cause some interesting game play or possibly the birth of several champions. Please give me your opinions and questions i would like to see how the community can help me improve them.
name: Seque & Grabstein race: Yordle(Seque)[male] race: Grave Golem(Grabstein)[genderless] title: Yordle Survivalist affiliations: Shadow Isles/Bandle City description: (Seque) solemn mannered yordle, missing right ear, short fur, green eyes, purple with lighter colored lines mixed in with it, has bones sewn into his armor, a medium pouch on his belt, uses a leather sling to hurl projectiles. (Grabstein) playful personality, has two yordle skulls for its heads[one of them burnt], made of stone cover with moss and roots, it body shape and movement is similar to a gorilla. makes chittering sounds and that of bone and stones clattering together.
Lore: Seque was heading to a survival training as a recruit for the Scouts of the Mothership with his platoon to a set of islands near Bilgewater. during the trip the boat was hit by a titanic storm that ended up shredding the boat to it's bones, throwing dozens of recruits overboard and rendering those still on the ship unconscious.
When Seque and the remaining recruits regained consciousness they found themselves on a mist covered beach and an eerie silence hung over the area. after searching the ship for survivors and supplies the recruits found themselves alone with little equipment. taking with them with what they found they ventured deeper into the island with determination to apply the survival techniques the learned in theory to use.
several weeks passed with no signs of a rescue coming near, and during that time they had discovered that the land was home to the restless dead. during this time the inexperienced recruits number had been reduced down to three; Seque, Guilen, and Fenneritoth. the three continued for about another year without incident, becoming very adept at surviving the harsh environment.
during an unexpected ambush from the undead denizens the three became seriously injured barely escaping with the loss of Guilen who use their last satchel charge to take out the attacking dead and was caught in the blast. Seque had managed to survives the attack with only the loss of his right ear. Fenneritoth injuries were much worse with the lost of a limb. Seque tried to administer medical aid to her but the injures were to severe and died soon afterward.
Seque after a hasty burial of his comrades fled into the deeper parts of the island knowing the undead would be there soon pulled toward the smell of fresh corpses. after travailing a while through the hostile land Seque ran across an abandoned graveyard. he had discovered during his time on the island that an empty grave was one of the safest places to hide.
Making this graveyard his new base he continued with the daily routines of gathering food, information of the land, and setting signal fires along the beach in hopes of a rescue. years passed by with not a single contact from a living soul. during which Seque had discovered and trained a golem he found wandering through the graveyard. he named the golem Grabstein, and it became in inseparable resource and mental support to Seque. Adorning Grabstein with the skulls of his fallen comrades Guilen and Fenneritoth to remind him self that he had to survive and escape this island.
after an unknown amount of time with the help of Grabstein, Seque managed to build a small ship and managed to sail to Bilgewater and from there returned to Bandle City riding upon the back of Grabstein. he then gave is report of what had transpired to the heads of the Scouts of the Mothership. all that were there during he report agreed that it was a miracle he survived, but shuddered as they felt the chill of the island lingering around the two of them.
Abilities:
Basic Attack: {Seque} Ranged; Uses a sling to attack, when an enemy gets close he uses it like a flail. {Grabstein} Melee; punches and head slams
Passive: Play Dead Seque and Grabstein have independent health bars; if one of them hits 0HP they will "play dead" and be unusable for X seconds if the other one still alive and within the "leash" radius the other one will get back up with X% health, both have to be at 0HP for a kill to be counted. abilities/stats change when one of them is "playing dead".
Skill 1: Hide & Seek / Hide / Seek {both alive}Seque becomes stealthed for X seconds and Grabstein sends out a pulse reviling near by enemies. {Seque alive}Seque becomes stealthed for X seconds and ignores unit collision. {Grabstein alive}Grabstein sends out a pulse reveling near by enemies and gaining true sight for X seconds
Skill 2: Grave flower / Curse / Plaint {both alive}Grabstein pounds the target into the ground for X seconds and Seque throws a skull at the target cursing them for X over X seconds. {Seque alive}tosses a skull at the enemy for X over X seconds and silences the target. {Grabstein alive}Pounds the target into the ground for X seconds and slowing nearby enemies.
Skill 3: Regroup / Rush / Plow {both alive} both will dash to a point, Grabstein will knock enemies to the side along its path and Seque will damage those in his path. the center is averaged between them. {Seque alive}dashes towards a selected point ignoring terrain collision damaging those in his path {Grabstein alive}dashes towards selected point knocking enemies to the side and grabbing a near by enemy at the end of the path and holding them in place for X seconds
Ultimate: Haunting Silence Seque and Grabstein cause the mist of the Shadow Isles to cover the entire map for X seconds. If an enemy uses an ability during that time they are affected by a long silence for X seconds. Both must be alive to cast. Muffles all sounds globally during duration.
Combat behavior notes: unique skill bar to declare Primary unit control; Seque starts as primary by default. have smaller health pools due to "play dead". Grabstein has more base armor and magic resist then Seque. Seque has higher damage output then Grabstein. potions effect both. fountain heals them separately. heals/shields/buffs only effect targeted party due to independent health; example Nidalee heal targeting Grabstein will only heal Grabstein. silences effect both of them. runaan's hurricane will only effect Seque's attacks and not Grabstein's attacks. hydra items will only affect Grabstein's attacks and not Seque's attacks. rage blade will be triggered by both causing two separate stacks to generate; Seque following range rules, Grabstein following melee rules. guardian angel only triggers when both hit zero or is unavailable for purchase for them. activateble items such as blade of the ruined king, zz'rot portal, banner of command, etc. are only cast from the current primary; items such as zhonya's hourglass, randuin's omen, youmuu's ghostblade, etc. effect both of them.
