Nautilus' New Groove

So I recently wrote a post about Nautilus' need for either a complete or partial rework to his visuals and gameplay. Today I'm writing a post about some skin concepts I had for Nautilus. Even though he did just get a new skin (Worldbreaker Nautilus) it was a pretty big let down. I'm not here to talk about what I have already said, if you want to hear my reasoning behind the rework go take a look at my other post. So today I have eight seperate skin concepts to share with you.

My first three skin concepts are Mecha, Full Metal, or Battlecast Nautilus. I'm grouping these three together because it would be unlikely we would see more than one of them. I think Nautilus would be very well suited for one of these skins just because of his pretty big model size paired with the huge potential he has for one of these skins. I think that if Riot were to ever make Nautilus another skin it would likely be one of these three.

My next concept is Definitly Naut Nautilus. I think Nautilus would pair very well with this skin set, just like Blitzcrank does. After seeing how they made definitly not Vel'Koz work, I think that Nautilus would be a perfect candidate for next April Fools Day.

The next idea I have to share with you is Super Galaxy Nautilus. Now even though he already has a space themed skin tese two are nothing alike. The Super Galaxy skins are a set of very smooth colours (Canadian spelling #Canada) and rounded designs that would go very well with Nautilus' design. This one is one of my personal favorites as far as concepts go and would love to see it implemented into the game.

My third to last concept is Dark Star Nautilus. This one is my absolute favorite concept for Nautilus (My favorite concept in general is Clockwork/Hextech Fiddlesticks). Once again it is another space skin and once again is it very different in design. The dark purples and glows that come with the Dark Star skins would pair extremely well with Nautilus' design and I would love to see it implemented into the game. Because this one is my favorite of the concepts I will provide some detail. His q would likely be similar to Thresh's hook just because they are already very similar in design. His w he would gain the dark purple glow over his eyes and dark stars orbiting around him as his shields. On his e he would send dark purple ruptures through the ground. His r would likely be similar to his e but on a larger scale.

Next up is Riot Nautilus. This one I won't explain very much about, but if you would like to see some concepts of it there are plenty by just searching google images. It is a skin that is very fitting for Nautilus' character and would go well once again alongside Blitzcrank.

My final concept is Arctic Ops Nautilus. This is a skin that I would like to see partly because it's very well suited for him and partly because it is an interesting concept. The bulkiness of a large parka and a ice pick as his anchor would make this skin very possible if Riot did it right.

Alot of these concepts were derived from either another skin currently in the game or someone elses concepts. I'm not going to take credit for any of these concepts because I know there are other people who came up with them before me. I personaly wanted to share these because I would love to see Nautilus get a genuinly good skin as he is my main.
