A new Skeleton Champion?

Alright, everyone knows Halloween is right around the corner, which means its the best time for a new spooky champion.

What kind of new champion you ask? I'm pretty sure its something that we've all been waiting for. Imagine the puns, imagine the rad sounds, imagine, a skeleton champion

He/She/Skelly could be melee, throw bones, or be a rad jungler that gets stronger off of champions bones/jungle monsters/minions.

Late game he could become a true skeleton monster, imagine Nito The Gravelord from Dark Souls 2, wouldn't that be rad?

Phreak, I know you're out there, I know you have material for a skeleton champion. Make my dreams come true.

They can't- censorship in some countries would get LoL banned outright.

((Note: By 'some countries,' I mean China, and it's not just a censorship thing- skulls are seen as culturally bad, something about dishonor or something. I'm not that familiar with Chinese/Eastern Asian Culture.))

There are the blood moon skins that are basically skulls, and I'm all for the skeleton idea, so china can go back to communism for all I care.

I agree it's lame, but Delioth is right. Riot would love to have a skeleton champ, they've said so before; China is big business and they will literally ban the game if it has a skeleton champ. It would be a very dumb business decision. This was the reason for the Karthus visual rework, he was too skeleton-like before for China.

See MasterCorgi's post, and note that Riot could put on its big-girl panties and add censors specifically for the Chinese client if that would even be necessary.

I'm sick of other countries' censorship being applied to everyone who plays League of Legends just because whoever makes these decisions in Riot is/are cowardly and/or the teams that would have to put in a little extra work to add Chinese-only censors are lazy. If I'm wrong on both of those accounts, apologies are due, but Riot is being completely opaque when it comes to the actual reasoning behind their worldwide censorship. We already know that their old posts about being sensitive to some players' cultures are utter shit because they've already done things that are potentially offensive to some cultures (ex: Lucian is a black male that has guns, Gragas is an alcoholic, most League females are scantily-clad, etc.).

We want skeletons, and there's nothing wrong with that. Some Chinese (very few, apparently, given that skeletons are not actually subject to a blanket-censoring in China) might not want skeletons, and there's nothing wrong with that. There's definitely something wrong with the beliefs of a few Chinese taking precedence over the beliefs of all other players. Specific action could be taken to benefit everyone, but, instead, Riot would rather damage their game for everyone in order to please a few.

But there's a decent enough chance that it'll be banned that Riot wouldn't (and really shouldn't) take the chance. I like Riot making enough profit to run at full capacity and grow their company.

Grim Reaper Karthus is the same as the base model. Its not a skeleton anymore.

Some people here mentioned already the chinese censorship preventing us from getting a skeleton as a champion,however there is one thing that should be possible:

An inhuman skeletal champion. You know like a bone dragon or a skeletal beast or whatever.

We can be pretty sure that these are ok in china,because skins like jurassic Chogath & KogMaw are not banned in china.

Apparently its something about human remains being disrespectful to your ancestors or something, so an inhuman skeleton champ might be a good idea. I think a bone creature would definitely have some potential for endearing traits (acts kind of like a dog, joke plays with a bone, silly stuff like that). How 'bout we get cracking on a kit/lore?

Upvote for Dark Souls :) Although you have that wrong, Nito is in the first Dark Souls. Nashandra could be a good champ inspiration from Dark Souls 2, but Karthus is pretty close to that already
