Possible ideas for a Kennen rework?
I'm not claiming to be a very competent league player, nor am I saying I have much champion knowledge! But I was having some of those unqiue shower thoughts and a few ideas came to mind. Personally I've found Kennen to be a pretty interesting champion, he's strong in really niche ways and often times can turn the tides of teamfights singlehandedly. But I've also noticed he has a lot of flaws in places that really matter in the current meta. Whether it be his laning phase or overall power as the game drags on, he simply doesn't live up to the current standards people expect of carry or 'strong' champions. I've got a few ideas in mind for how he could once again be relevant, and fun!

Kennen's Passive. (Mark of the Storm)
{- Personally I've always found Kennen's passive to be a pretty cool one, get enough ability hits and be rewarded with some extra damage AND A STUN. But, I still feel as if his kit leaves a lot to be desired when it comes down to mechanics and that general 'fun' feel of playing a champion with unqiue differences when you do things. The idea of this passive is to still keep Kennen's original 'feel' or aesthetic, but make it a little more interesting to play around with.}
> Kennen's abilities apply one stack of 'Mark of the Storm' to their target for (X) seconds and deal (X) magic damage per second, scaling with the amount of stacks the target has applied, up to a maximum of five stacks. > Every fourth autoattack applies one stack of 'Mark of the Storm' and deals extra damage scaling with Kennen's ability power (With base damage included, scaling per level)
Q (Thundering Shuriken)
{- This, to me is the ability within Kennen's kit that really feels hard to lane with. It does decent damage and it's not a bad ability, but it's not a very good one during the laning phase. You have to move in and out of minions to use it, and despite it being a fast projectile with decent range, there are simply better lane opponents who can abuse that sort of positioning. The idea is to change this ability and make it better for the laning phase, but still balanced and enjoyable to use.}
> Kennen throws a shuriken towards a target location, dealing damage and applying a stack of 'Mark of the Storm' to any enemies hit. This ability pierces through enemies, dealing (X%) less damage to subsequent targets, to a minimum of (X%).
W (Living Tesla [Electrical Surge])
{- I changed the name of this to better suit the idea of the ability. Ingame, this really isn't a very interactive or fun ability to use. Does your target have some stacks? Cool, press W and get some more or a stun! It's really straight forward, and doesn't have a lot of effects to it besides easy to use damage (Which isn't something to complain about!) The idea here is to create something slightly more diverse, that will make the player hold onto the ability a little longer, to use it in different situations and hopefully get more out of their choices- Or less.}
>Activating this ability will deal (X) damage to any enemies afflicted by 'Mark of the Storm' within range and applies one stack of 'Mark of the Storm'. If two or more champions are hit within (X) range of one another, they will be connected briefly by a conduit of electricity, gaining one extra 'Mark of the Storm' stack for every champion affected.
E (Lightning Rush)
{ - This ability is admittedly kinda fun to use. You press a button and immediately gain a HUGE movement speed boost. It's really useful for getting away, for closing small gaps and simply for getting in range of your ultimate. But it still feels like a very simple ability- And by simple I don't mean easy to use, as abilities can still be complex yet easy to be successful with. This ability is just very basic- And I think with a rework, new and more interesting abilities are always welcomed!}
>Kennen morphs into a lightning form, gaining a large movement speed boost, the ability to pass through units and slow resistance. Every unit hit during this ability's duration takes (X) damage and gains one stack of 'Mark of the Storm'. Enemy champions already affected by 'Mark of the Storm' can be blinked to within (X) range once per champion during the duration of the ability. Blinking to an enemy champion with two or more stacks of 'Mark of the Storm' increases the duration of the spell by (X) seconds. (Likely somewhere around 0.5)
R (Shock Therapy [Slicing Maelstrom])
{ - Kennen's Ultimate, arguably the real reason you pick this champion in the first place is for his MASSIVE effect in teamfights with his ult. Just one press of a button with perfect timing can turn the tides of any clumped teamfight, and win a game. I still think Kennen should have that feel- But it should be different, requring perhaps more skill to really use it effectively. That and we need an excuse to change it a little for the purpose of this thread. }
>_After channeling (moving or not) for (X) seconds, Kennen summons a brief storm of electricity within a range of (X). All champions hit are dealt (X) damage per second and are afflicted by 'Mark of the Storm' (One stack per champion). After the initial ultimate duration has finished, a secondary effect visually links all champions within range together and stuns them for 0.25 seconds per 'Mark of the Storm' stack. (Maximum of 5 stacks, therefore maximum stun of 1.25 seconds) _

Any any all criticism and comments are welcome and desired. Kennen is a champion I really think Riot should give some love to, I miss this yordle.
