Meeps would definitely get lost in the forest while trying to find Bard. And Ivern would totally find those meeps and chase them around. Imagine hide and seek with meeps!

I could imagine Bard running into Ivern in the jungle and Ivern makes some quirky quip and Bard replies with his celestial sounds and Ivern replies as if he understands him (although he definitely doesn't).
