For season 6 Riot should add a system to see what champion get played the most and at the end of the season Riot should make some kind of a skin for the most played champion.
Its a cool idea for next season. (I didn't know what to put this idea under -_-)

This is basically what the Championship skin is. It's given to the champion that has a high pick rate and has been a significant champion in terms of game play and wins throughout that season. Last year Morgana was a very popular support choice and mid lane choice. This year Kalista was booming.
There are external sites that do this already. OP.GG alone does server wide statistics for each champion pick rate, ban rate, win rate etc. I can't remember the site but there was also a place that showed who played the most of each champion on a global scale.
