New Champion Concept - Piper (Based on the pied piper)

Whilst clearing my computer I came across this somewhat old Champion concept I messed around with so I thought I'ld share it with you all. It has no lore but It would loosely be based on the pied piper, Hence the name and style that it is based on.

In game he is somewhat support but is played in a way that annoys the enemy and makes it so if they back or leave him unchecked he can build up rats which will start to cause real problems the more there are. The main mechanic of his is the rats as they are meant to put pressure on lane by being able to damage the turret making the enemy have to spend time to kill them before they start to deal a lot of damage.

ABILITIES

Passive : King of Rats

Range: 3000

Nearby rats flock to Piper bewitched by his tune. After 5 seconds of not taking damage Piper passively spawns 1 rat per second which attacks champions and turrets within the range ( If no targets in range they follow Piper ).

Target Priority : Turrets > Champions

Rat : Deals (Champion lv + (1 per 100 AP)) true damage per second 1hp but cannot be targeted by non champions Last an infinite amount of time until killed If a rat is killed, all rats within 25 units run away / despawn They have a movement speed equal to Piper

Q : Call the Rats

Range: 1500 Cost: 45 MANA Cooldown: 12 / 10 / 10 / 8 / 8

Piper calls to his rats to dive his target. Target unit takes 100 / 100 / 120 / 200 / 280 Magic Damage (+ 80% AP) Spawns 1 rat per 100 damage Spawned rats are immune to auto attacks for 1 second If cast on a champion, all rats target that champion for 5 seconds

W : Follow me

Range: 1200 Cost: 50 MANA Cooldown: 20 / 20 / 18 / 15 / 10

Piper lets out his bewitching melody charming all enemies within his range. Piper cannot attack whilst casting follow me but can move. Channels for 3 seconds but can cancel out but also cancels the charm.

E : Empowering tune

Range: 1000 Cost: 70 / 80 / 100 / 110 / 130 MANA Cooldown: 30 / 25 / 22 / 20 / 16

Piper reinforces his team for 5 seconds with his tune affecting all units within his range:

slowing enemies by 10% / 10% / 10% / 15% / 15%; Increasing allies movement speed by 20% (+20% AP); boosting allies attack speed by 10% / 10% / 10% / 15% / 15% (+5% AP); increasing allies attack damage by 20% / 20% / 30% / 40% / 50%.

R : The unlucky few

effect radius: 800 Cost: 100 / 110 / 130 MANA Cooldown: 90 / 85 / 70

Piper plays his most deadly melody affecting all enemy units on the map for 5 seconds (+ 1 second per 100 AP) and spawning a burrow around him. During this Piper gains 100% attack speed and can auto attack all units within the burrow but can not move.

Outside the effect radius: slowing enemy attack speed by 20%; Applying effects to all enemy champions Rooted

Within the effect radius: Deals Magic Damage 100 / 200 / 400 (+ 65% AP) Applying effects to all enemy champions Nearsighted, blind slowing enemies by 80%;

Burrow lasts for 20 seconds after cast: Spawns 1 rat per second, per enemy in the area Spawned rats are immune to auto attacks These rats cannot leave the burrow area These rats target champion first Once the burrow vanishes the rats despawn and The unlucky few’s cool down is reduced by 1 per rat
