Mordekaiser Fan-Made Rework
#Hey Summoners!
This is my first fan-made rework I'm posting here so please go easy on me :)
This rework is focused solely on champion gameplay.
So getting straight to the point, Morde has quite a few problems. He's is the only champion without CC or a movement ability. The movement speed from his W is so bad it's not worth mentioning. He is kited too easily and there's noting a player can do about it. Next thing is his ultimate. It's doesn't seem to offer anything unless you somehow manage to ult and kill the enemy ADC, which with RITO nerfing Mordekaiser's AP builds seems impossible. Ulting a melee, support or AP champion pretty much results in a useless ghost.
So the purposes of this rework are:
- Changing his abilities to make his a tank/fighter instead of a mage
- Switching to a more reliable and useful ultimate.
- Give him some CC, but no mobility, cause "heavy, metal armor" :)
- Make him useful in teamfights
OK, now getting straight to the point:
#ABILITIES
Passive:
> Every time Mordekaiser hits an enemy with his abilities he gains a shield equal to 2% of maximum health for each target hit, up to 30% of maximum health. Shield starts to decay after 10s out of combat, at a rate of 5% of maximum health per second. > Additionally Mordekaiser's abilities have no cost
Q: > ACTIVE: Mordekaiser slams his target with a mace, dealing magic damage, capped at 300 against minions and monsters.
> RANGE: 300 MAGIC DAMAGE: 4/5/6/7/8% (+ 3% per 100 AP) of target's maximum health > COOLDOWN: 14/12/10/8/6
W: >ACTIVE: Mordekaiser calls metal spikes to erupt from the ground dealing magic damage and slowing anyone standing on them. After 2s the spikes shatter, dealing damage again and stunning anyone standing on them for 1s.
> RANGE: 900 RADIUS: 200 MAGIC DAMAGE: 60/100/140/180/220 (+30% AP) COOLDOWN: 16/14/12/10/8 SLOW: 30%
E: > ACTIVE: Mordekaiser deals magic damage to all enemies in a cone in the target direction.
> PASSIVE: Mordekaiser gains extra shield if his abilities hit enemy champions.
> RANGE: 675 MAGIC DAMAGE: 50/90/130/170/210 (+ 60% AP) COOLDOWN: 6 EXTRA SHIELD: 1/1.5/2/2.5/3% of maximum health
R: > ACTIVE: Mordekaiser puts a spell on himself for 15s. Each enemy who exceeds the threshold of damage dealt to Mordekaiser during this period freezes in place, turning into a metal statue (a cool looking stun). Each enemy can only be stunned once.
> COOLDOWN: 100/90/80 THRESHOLD: 600/500/400 STUN: 1/1.5/2
#ITEMS AND SUMMONER SPELLS
Mordekaiser is best suited for a toplane so

With this rework Mordekaiser benefites the most from building health, cooldown reduction and ability power

is the best option since he has no real sustain
Investing into
can be very benefitial since it gives you all the stats you need and some extra CC.
Building health on Mordekaiser is more beneficial than resistances, because of his passive, so
is definitely a good choice, plus it gives Mordekaiser the extra sustain he lacks.
Cooldown reduction on can be a little hard to get, since most cooldown reduction items grant mana aswell. So buying
is the best option for boots, plus they give you reduced cooldowns on your
