Champion Idea: Genghis the Bow Hunter
Appearance: A tall (6' 1"), Caramel skin, muscular man who uses a large, compound bow. He wears a black sleeveless vest with an accompanying Arm guard and pants, red googles and has a red belt with pouches and knives on it. His boots look as if they are made from some exotic animal hide, and his finger-less gloves match his boots. He has wild yet short, black hair and a small scar under his left cheekbone. He has a massive animal hide quiver on his back, in which he carries a multitude of arrows. He is right handed and on his right arm, he has a scar from when he was teaching Rengar how to use his claws.
Lore: (I apologize for it being short. I'm not the best writer) Genghis is a great hunter who wants to test his skills on greater and more fabulous prey. Often called the Pinnacle of all hunters, he utilizes his bow and arrows to track, distract, and strike down his unlucky prey.
In his youth, Genghis had found a young, fluffy, moon-colored animal cub wandering near his home. Genghis assumed this animal was a lion until the lion said it had a name and that he didn't know where his mama and papa were. This had inspired Genghis to bring him home and train him as his apprentice, as he knew that he wasn't immortal and that he would eventually fade away. The young cub eventually grew to become a fearless hunter and had even become adept enough at combat to be able to would Genghis. So, the cub had proved himself worthy of having his own domain to roam and hunt in, and with a heavy heart, Genghis had allowed the cub to leave if he so chose it. The cub thanked him, and left. Leaving Genghis alone, and quite frankly, bored. This prompted him to leave on an expedition of own, perhaps even the largest he had been on in his life. This expedition would feature large, mythical creatures that most men wouldn't dare look at, monsters that strike fear in the hearts of all; creatures that would require him to make new equipment to just damage them.

Q: Switch Arrow Type CD- 2 seconds Upon activation, Genghis can switch between 3 different types of arrows that modify his auto attacks, granting a new effect. The auto attacks do not deal Genghis' full AD, and the percent that they do deal changes with the arrow type. Activating this does not proc spellblade and effects like that. To change the arrow type, Press Q then either W, E, or R. To rid yourself of the effect, simply activate your Q and press Q again. The arrow types are as follows: -Boom Arrows, which deals a 35/40/45/50/55% of AD as physical damage in a 200 range AoE every third auto attack. Deals 90% of your total AD. Press W after your Q to activate. -Exhaust Arrows, which build up stacks of exhaustion that slow an opponents attack speed and movement speed by 30/35/40/45/50% for 4 seconds upon reaching max stacks (10 stacks). At 5 stacks, the unit is slowed for 15/17/20/22/25% for 2 seconds. Deals 80% of your total AD. Press E after your A to activate. -Steel Arrows, which deals 1/2/3/4/5% of his total AD as true damage. Deals 80% of his Total AD. Press R after you Q to activate.
W: Grappling Arrow CD- 10/9/8/7/6 Mana Cost- 70/80/85/90/95 Range- 800 Genghis shoots out a thin arrow that latches itself onto the first unit or terrain it hits, dealing 60/70/80/90/100 (+50% bonus AD) physical damage if the unit is an enemy unit or monster and then Genghis is quickly dragged to the unit. If this kills the unit, then the arrow continues on until it hits another unit or terrain. The arrow will not latch onto minions. Genghis cannot auto attack while he is traveling to his destination.
E: Sonic Arrow CD- 12/11/10/9/8 Mana cost- 50/60/70/80/90 Range- 700 Genghis sends out an arrow that hits a target location to deal 40/60/80/100/120 (+75% bonus AD) physical damage in a 300 range AoE. It takes .2 seconds to arrive at the location. After a 1 second delay, the arrow releases a loud noise that silences all enemy units for 1 second. The area affected is indicated by a red circle that appears when the ability is activated.
R: Longshot Arrows CD- it takes 30/25/20 seconds to build another Longshot Arrow. Can hold up to 3 arrows Mana Cost- 150 per shot Range- 1000/1250/1500 After a .8 second delay,Genghis shoots a long ranged arrow that deals 100/150/200 (+ 50% bonus AD and plus 10/20/30% of their missing health) physical damage to all units in a 200 range AoE. He builds an arrow every 30/25/20 seconds and can hold up to 3 arrows. Hitting an opponent with multiple arrows causes each arrow to deal only 55/60/65% of it's damage. Applies a quarter of Genghis' current lifesteal percent.
Lines:
Upon Selection: "It's a good day to go huntin'"
Upon starting a match: "This'll be great! Imagine all the things I could shoot..." "I got all my arrows ready" "Hahaha! They don't stand a chance!" "What if I miss?... Hm... Eh that'll never happen" "Steady aim, steady shot" "Let the games begin heh" "Let's see them run from me"
Attacking: "Heh heh" "The best defense is a fantastic offense" "Focus on the arrow" "This'll show 'em how it's done" "Whoops. Veered too far to the right. Eh, I'll do better next time" "This won't miss" "This'll be fun" "Target acquired" "Woah! I didn't even feel that!"
Movement: "I got this" "Fear is a hunter's worst enemy" "Show no mercy... Well, maybe a little" "Maybe you'll learn something from me? Nah? Okay" "I'll show them something pointy" "Why don't I use these knives?" "My arrows will reach new heights!"
Taunt: *He fires a flashing arrow and catches it on its way down as the animation" "I wish you were a better hunt. Maybe then I'd enjoy this more" "I go through the effort of leaving my home for this wimp? What a waste." "Your head would look fantastic on my wall"
Taunting an enemy Rengar: "Remember what I taught you... Or you'll surely lose" "You need more than instinct to kill me boy"
Taunting an enemy Galio: "Will my arrows even hurt you? I mean... Uh... You're just... Well... Ah nevermind."
Taunting an enemy Yordle: "Awww. It's adorable! I need one... For my wall that is..."
Recall: Aims towards the sky, shoots an arrow towards the sky (the arrow has a string on it), and then zips towards the arrow _"Time to rest and restock" "I lived. That's the important part you see" "Errgh. I can't sustain this much... Must retreat" _(under 25% HP)
Role: Genghis is an ADC who specializes in being versatile. With his Q, he can between three different arrows to help him achieve his mission of farming and eventually killing his enemies. He can use his Q to get extra tank killing ability, to clear waves easier, or to slow down his opponents to make sure he can kill them. His E provides him with a short, albeit telegraphed, silence that can help Genghis contribute to team fights even if he is behind and it gives him a fair amount of waveclear and pushing prowess along with his Q: Boom Arrows. His W, in my opinion, should be used as an escape by wall or by your support if he or she is far enough. However, the cooldown becomes fairly low, and it could be used to reposition if needed. His R, which stays true to his archer concept, allows him to deal a lot of long range poke damage. To get the maximum damage off of it though, you should use it to end fights, as it does a lot of execute damage.
He could go mid or top and focus on using his R to poke enemies down, as he has good enough sustain and he has a pseudo escape to escape ganks in any lane. I guess he could support, and focus on his E and Q to silence and slow people but he needs gold to do what he does, and that is deal damage. The jungle is probably the only place I don't think he'd be very usable in.
Build: He would prioritize building Ad over attack speed and lifesteal because of his passive, which isn't really there until you at least get a B.F Sword, gives you attack speed and lifesteal. As an ADC with no steroid, his passive provides him with stats that would be so needed in a fight against another ADC. Plus, his Q-enhanced autos deal only a percent of your total AD, which helps to balance out the numbers. In conclusion, he can build practically any AD item and have some use out of it.
Where would you play him? What would you build on him? Comments, concerns?
I'd like to thank you for reading this to the end.
