3rd NAMI https://i.imgur.com/oSaVPjB.jpg [PLZ Don't make fun of standing, I know it's super ugly :/] The end of the semester is coming (kms), not paying much attention to do it. [I could have done better*[sg-janna]* ] She is 5.5 inches tall and still very rough. why the smaller the harder it is to do [cass-cry] ... I thought smaller one should be easier. (sigh) I promise I'll do the fourth one seriously. :/

【something to explain】 • The rough texture because I tried to make her scales but failed... the surface it’s hard to change after it dried out. It’s the air dry clay, instead of the polymer clay (which need to bake), automatically dry in the air from the time you took the clay out of the bag. •• I’m not art major or sculpture major, I google “how to use clay” last month and started to make the very first one. this is my 3rd project. I think I’m still on the stage that learning how to make it and improve myself. •••Ik I’m kind failed on this one, but Plz be patient with me :) I will improve

Edit: Also I'm faulty certain that's a BJD head, right? (If not, srsly wow) I was wondering who made it; Obitsu? Oh my glob I checked the others and you made it by hand. I don't even understand how someone can make eyes that look that perfect by hand. You're insanely talented / skilled!

BJD stands for Ball jointed doll. Basically just a doll. (Common size is 1/3 of about 60cm tall) that's poseable for photo shoots and scenes and whatnot (and they're super adorable / pretty most of the time :D). Some of the heads / eyes that you can buy look exactly like this, so I thought this was one of them for sure >.<. I should have known someone with your skill wouldn't need to buy one when they could make their own :0! In seriously jealous D: lol

This one I did not do well, it took 2 days. The first one(Sona) , since it’s the first.. it took 3days. The second one (Ashe,which I really pay attention) took about 2 week. I do this little by little after school or work off. Not spent whole day for making it. [zombie-brand-mindblown]

It is rougher than others because I didn’t pay much attention on this one. I could’ve done better. The texture because I try to make her scales but failed,...then end up like this lol [sg-soraka] Anyway I didn’t do well. Sr if I disappointed you [cass-cry]

Hey no worries, this is still like a billion times better than.. the Ori-clay-ball I made in art class :v

Besides it gives her a somewhat aquatic look, as if sunlight was shining on her through the seawater [slayer-pantheon-thumbs]

Really like what you're doin, keep it up! Any other plans yet?

ummm someone mentioned lunar guardian Nasus in last thread. I’m kinda hesitate between Arclight Vayne or Lunar Guardian Nasus for my fourth. The fourth one is gonna be the bigger one like Ashe. But Lunar Guardian Nasus is non-human face which I never make before.. it’s gonna be big challenge if I do Nasus. [zombie-brand-mindblown] But semester is ending and finals are coming up, so the fourth probably gonna take really long time period to do. :/

Hmm.. If you're up for a challenge, I'd suggest Infernal Nasus :) Lots of details and I'd love to see how you make the red-yellow-black color fading :D

Anyway, I'll anticipate it! Good luck in your finals

Hey, I saw your other stuff. Pretty nice.

For your scales I have an idea: make 1 flat portion of scales.

Then use a hard casting (tin, plaster, epoxy,...) anything harder than clay basically to take the negative.(if possible with a handle)

Then go around stamping Nami's body pelt before you curl it around.

Lol you asked about body parts. I remember. Next time, either arclight vayne or lunar guardian Nasus. But, again, my finals are coming up, so it would work take long time period for me to do the fourth. :) And, I think Riot has pretty good ahri figure. I will do the mf, but not the fourth [slayer-pantheon-popcorn]

Oh no, by all means keep putting your stuff out there and keep at it. It's just a peeve of mine as I myself do a bit of art. The more you make the better you become at hiding mistakes from the unwary eye. At least that's what I've learned lol.

The one that asked for Katarina in the last thread here, this is awesome. I was wondering, do you have a shop where you sell these? An Etsy, or anything like that? I would absolutely buy a Kat one (assuming I have the money at the time, I'm in the middle of switching jobs).

There's really two reasons I don't buy theirs. Firstly, I think yours are significantly better. Secondly, as a very long time Kat main (she was my first true main, and has remained my favorite since I picked her up, been playing since before season 1), I'm interested in yours because of the unique one of a kind-ness and quality of it, even if you were to make multiples, the handcrafted aspect makes each one unique.

I guess the third reason I don't buy Riots is because honestly, I don't really like buying figures, I live a pretty minimalist lifestyle, I don't do decorations or show pieces. The only thing decorating my entire apartment is a single picture of myself and my son on the day we brought him home from the hospital, but for some reason, seeing your previous work made me want one. Hopefully one day you do open a shop, because if you do, and there's an option for Kat, I will be among the first people to buy it.

Please take all of this as praise, I am not at all upset that you don't sell, or anything of the sort. I just greatly admire what you're making.
