I've had enough, and i've only started

I just recently started playing League of Legends due to a friend recomendation, and i had little hopes for the game, but it grew on me a little, i liked the gameplay, but felt lost due to me not being able to find the character of my choice, the character i would grind ai battles for if i had to just to be able to use them when i want to (Zed or Viktor), then after about 20 games, i realized how slow i was progressing each match, and being told that i need this or this item to be doing better... the problem is, i have to get the last hit on anything to get credit for my effort.

(I can't wait for you LoL elitists, addicts, shit talkers, and the rest of you to come at me for making that complaint, come at me, i'm ready, but i'm not done yet, i have to elaborate on it.)

I'm not going to waste my time practicing getting the last hit on a minion so i get fast cash, i should be getting paid for my effort, but in a pvp situation, like when you're going after one of the many boss monsters like the drakes, barons, and the other bosses around the map, i understand it being a last hit gets the credit situation, but with minions having the ability to take credit for your effort is beyond bull shit. I'm sure this will never change, since somehow people like it like this, but i'll be going elsewhere now, thanks for getting my hopes up Riot, then crushing them instantly. (i started to really like the game for a while)

Another thing, when you have mages on the other team, you need magic resistance, but if you spend all of your cash on armor, you won't be doing much damage, so you can't win unless the progression is faster. i'd be more than happy if xp gain was cut by like 25%, and here's an example of how minion and jungle monster farming could be. let's say you did 90% of the damage to a monster that gives 50 gold, getting 90% of the gold would MAKE SENSE, even if someone came up and killed it before you could finish it off, yes, even an enemy player. only bosses should be under this rule. gold income items are also pointless unless you're running from lane to lane taking a measly 4-6 gold per minion that dies, and will not add up to the amount you spent until you run from lane to lane for 20 minutes, be real Riot, that was a shitty idea. Yeah, there's that other gold income item that gives your team mates gold for you killing things, which is nice, but you want to do well also right? then don't buy it, and "get good". the progession is too heavily based on pvp each match, with each kill netting 300 gold each, not counting double kills, triple kills, etc. that's a huge amount of gold. It also lets the much better players progress faster, which i actually like, that's a good part of this whole gold thing, but like i said, you should get paid for your effort against minions and smaller monsters in the jungle.

I was thinking about getting heroes of the storm, but the battle.net app on my computer is messed up, and i don't feel like going on a long, drawn out adventure over the internet to fix the problem that should've been fixed by an update anyway, so i'm done with computer gaming now as well, unless it's TrueWoW (unnecessary details obviously), i'll jump on there a little more to see if i have some fun, then if i get mad at that too, i'll delete it, and stick with my console, where games don't have technical issues unless it's framerate, which is a FUCKING EXCELLENT TRADE OFF. Have a nice day everyone, pick on my grammer too, make sure to be a good internet troll, do your duty. have a fucking ball game on here, idc. i won't be back to check it more than likely, unless i get bored, then i might.

if you cant last hit then get gold runes until you can actively start last hitting. Yeah it sucks but it is a fundamental skill you will need to learn for this game or any MOBA out there. Yes some may be different, but you still need to last hit for the most XP or something or other.

Gold income items are meant for supports...who are in the botlane to help the ADcarry to get strong for the mid/late game...Supports aren't supposed to farm and thus needed another way to get gold. Although I get your complaint about last-hitting being weird when you do like 90% of the damage, Gold items are a good and crucial part of the game. I don't know who taught you how the game works (if anyone did at all) but gold items are built only by supports who aren't supposed to go from lane to lane...

This is either a really bad troll or a really entitled kid who doesn't know jack shit about the game and feels like his opinions matter. If it's the later, please learn the game before throwing your opinions around like that.

I'm bored as fuck at work, so, in case it's the later, here's a basic rundown:

1- LAST HITTING:

Last hitting allows for basicly 3 things: 1- Wave control. Needing to only deal the last hit on a minion allows a good player to control where he wants his wave to be, while still getting gold. A player can push or freeze without giving up on gold, which is, in short, what laning phase is all about. 2- Control enemy gold income. By having to deal the last hit on a minion to get the gold for it, players can force dominance over their enemies to zone them away from low health minions. Not only that, but once your own wave is at low health, you can force trades and make the enemy player to choose between damaging you or getting farm. It adds another layer of strategy to the game. 3- Allows tanks to get some money. If you are playing some high damage champion, sure, it's easy to last hit minions and get the gold for it. Now try to do it with a tank in your "effort based" idea. You won't have the Attack Speed or Damage to get a significative amount of money, making tanks suffer even more than they already do in this season.

2- RESISTANCES:

You don't need resistances in every case. In many champions you can delay buying it until you get your second or third item. Hell, some people will only get it as the very last item. This is because you are not forced to tank the damage of everyone. Knowing when and who to engage is a much stronger defensive option than building MR or Armor.

3- XP GAIN:

No. Just no. We don't need the game to be any slower.

4- MONSTER GOLD:

Same as last hitting. By doing it you basicly remove the concept of aggressive counter jungling. Removing non cheese strategies is always bad. Aggressive counter jungling is a high risk - medium reward strategy, which is already in a bad state as it is.

5- GENERAL GOLD INCOME:

Gold income items are meant for supports, who are not supposed to last hit so their adc can get more gold faster. You won't get meaningful amounts of gold on those items alone. Learn to last hit.

Overall, you gain more money through minions and passive gold income than by kills. One kill is worth about 2 minion waves (12 minions). Multikills are rare until the later stages of the game. By the point triple kills are becoming common, everyone already has it's core build down.

The main source of income on League of Legends is Last Hitting minions.

6- TL;DR:

Git Gud.
