3ofGot40ve2 votesAwsome! Upvoted. Hope this becomes popular so more can listen :)
Sid881 votesI hope so too! With support like yours I'm sure it will :D
Rito Jericho2 votesI'm afraid this song doesn't quite strike me as a LULLABY exactly, but incredible work nonetheless!!
Sid882 votesWell I didn't mean lullaby like an actual will-put-you-to-sleep-guaranteed lullaby. It's like ode or hymn or 'song for' kinda thing. Bella's lullaby from Twilight being the latest example. The song doesn't put me to sleep. Although the movie does.. (..kekekek!) Also, super happy you liked it man! :D I was kinda nervous about that part! :P
LatetotheRace2 votesWhy does riven need a lullaby? The concept just doesn't quite make sense to me. No offence per-say, I'm just confused.
Sid881 votesWell no one actually needs a lullaby... But when someone sleeps like they do in the artwork you just gotta write a song about it! :D
But in all seriousness, most things about Riven are about how she had sinned and has exiled herself. And how she's this badass girl that wrecks everyone with a broken sword that becomes a giant ass sword that makes people rage! (Read: Broken af!)
The artwork shows a very human side of her. I mean, she is a girl after all. A very human, good at heart girl. It was that side that I never noticed that inspired me to write the song as I wrote it. And that's how Riven's Lullaby came to being! :)
