Weird idea so honest opinions please

Just had a random idea so sorry if it's awful. What if Riot made a little card game or something where we play it with shards, and can bet shards on games or trade them somehow or something? Idk if this is a good idea or if there would be legal problems, just thought i'd drop it here in case it sparks any sort of similar idea.

They're already coming out with an entirely separate TCG and it doesn't involve LoL shards, so don't hold your breath.
