Riot please keep the old Fiora as one of the champions in LOL
First of all, I have to thank Riot for actually caring about the unpopular champions like Fiora (in China Fiora is acutally very popular because the best Fiora CN) . I'm not here to say bad stuffs about the new Fiora because the new Fiora is fine (except for the artwork
). But I think it is good idea to keep the old Fiora as one of the champions in LOL.
I am a Fiora one-trick pony (only knows how to play Fiora), with the old Fiora I was able to achieve diamond 5 on both my main account and my smurf account. (The best Fiora in China (Ximen) got to challenger with Fiora only which proves that the old Fiora is acutally viable in solo que). I don't know why other champion's rework does not redefine the champion except for Fiora. For example, ashe
is still a ranged adc, Yi
is still a melee tons of dmg dealer, sion
is still a tank, heim
is still a ranged mage. But with the Fiora rework, she can no longer be build as an assassin who can one shot the enemy adc/apc instead now she is a melee fighter that have to go half tank half dmg. If you guys have the time and effort to change every single skill, the artwork and basically everything about a champion and redefine them to a new role, why not just keep the old champion and add the "rework" champion as a new champion in the league? There are many siblings in LOL like draven Darius, Cass and kat, why not give Fiora a sister too?
There are people actually spending months or even years practicing the old Fiora (I was one of them). People say the old Fiora is easy, press r get a penta and stuffs like that, but it is not actually that easy. With practice, the old Fiora can pull of a 5 attacks in 1 second combo with Q A E A (
if avaliable) Q A. At least 6,000 People playing in the Chinese server are actually willing to pay $200 to learn this combo and learn how to play the old Fiora.
I'm sure many people like the new Fiora and many people hate the rework. Instead of making some people happy and some people sad, I suggest Riot just add back the old Fiora as a new champion with the same old skills and same damage. This way, everyone will be happy.
