Parasite Debuff: What I thought Neeko would be all about.

Hiya,

After yesterdays teaser I thought that Neeko thematically would revolve around parasites. There was an evil looking Ahri with a rainbow coloured tail in it that sparked the idea.

I was off, but I imagined a concept that I found tactically intriguing. I wanted to share it and love to hear how you feel about a champion that has the ability to significantly change a game's power dynamic for a bit of time if the player proves himself skilled enough to enforce it.

"PARASITE - After hitting a series of spells in a necessary order, the last ability hit infects the target champion. After a delay of [30 secs] the parasite becomes active and transfers [30% adaptive damage] form the target to the caster for a duration of [120secs]"

The goal of this mechanic is to create a powerplay for PARASITE's team by sapping substantial power from, for example, an enemy adc. Meanwhile, the parasite needs time to develop, meaning that there is a window to act before the debuff becomes active. During a baron dance, an infection changes the dynamic of the situation and "the infected" are stimulated to act/engage, because the teamfight odds are about to change for the worse.

Gameplay-wise this power should not be easily accessible. You should land a couple of skillshots in the right order in order to infect a champion. You could think of an enemy adc proccing a Jhin-like mine, followed up by you landing a Zyra-ish root and dashing in with a LB-ish W in a short amount of tim and a succesfully connected dash applying the infection.

Secondly: it should be ultimate dependent, ensuring that you can't access it early and that you have to pick your moments to apply it. AKA: You should be a skilled PARASITE-player to apply the infection.

The infection is the champion's core mechanic, but the champ should feel useful without it (newb-insurance; if you will :3 ). Just enough wave clear, a bit of utility, decent damage; Sufficient power to make the champion serviceable, but not strong enough to take over a game if youre not utilizing your infections correctly.

That's about it :)
