Can we get a League of legends movie or start a series on Netflix?

Riots cinematic visuals and everything are insane and i think they should go to Netflix and start a series. They could pull in an insane amount of people to off the visuals alone and would probably bring in a lot of people who dont play the game to try it. Wtih the lore and all the regions and characters they could explore this could be huge imo.

I think a movie wouldn't do justice. They've built such a world in league of legends that it's impossible to get every champion in a move. I would like a tv series since they could hop around different parts, like Caitlyn and Vi cracking a case and fighting Jinx in the end. Or the invasion on Ionia by Noxus with several champions in the arc. Or even an episode with Aurelion sol chilling out. I think it'd be awesome, and considering Riot partnered with fucking MARVEL, I dont think its a big stretch that Riot could partner with a company like Netflix. Probably should look forward to it in the future.

Personally I think making a story that includes every single champ is just impossible.

First, most of the champions we have don't even live in the same era, and while some are just mortals, others are gods. There are also simply too many characters, like, not every show has over 100 characters and multiple continents to be explored on.

But yeah, I too hope that Riot can make some TV series (I actually prefer animated, since some characters would be kinda weird to appear next to real humans).

We also need some fresh blood. Now more than half of the community are toxic... and playing with/against some of them is really frustrating.

Riot, heed our pleas! Design and create an anime worthy of your world! [sg-syndra]

Well...obviously I can't call upon Riot like I'm some sort of almighty summoning wizard...but it was worth a shot. :P

This. League has such a diverse and large number of characters that there would never be protagonists, characters you could pan to, follow. The result would be something like the Warcraft movie.

If you had a movie following the Noxian invasion of Ionia, you could make it work. Incorporating the whole universe, from the realm beyond Mount Targon to the jungles of Shurima or forests of Ionia... That's going to get messy, with no coherent plot that could even justify it.

It will be a Lux series. Fuck it.

IF League were to make a movie or Netflix series, I think it'd have to mainly revolve around...and I can't believe the words are coming out of my fingertips...Ezreal.

He's one of very few champions who literally roams the entire map, pretty much endlessly. Other candidates that could fit that role are Ryze (trying to prevent another Rune War), Lux (only after her exile), or maybe Amumu (but that would probably get very depressing)

Alternatively, they could do it sort of like Robot Chicken, where they just jump all over the place...but I really don't think it'd do them justice like that.

Or they could make up a character or two that roam around, finding themselves in all sorts of strange situations, trying to do something of their own, in which case, me and Voidling each have our own perfect fit in a couple of all regions concepts trying to unite Runeterra against the Void threat. I've already got a collab going that's sort of going all Doctor Who on timelines to bring these guys together...but for the sake of a Netflix series, I'd go with Voidling's concept, as it's a lot easier to actually work with than mine. :P

I think itd be more, each episode would focus on two or three champs who have met up and have a common goal.

Let's just put Jax as the main character. Battling enemies with his lamp post. Heck yeah. He can also adept to use different weapons depending on the region, to let him feel more involved.

Either way it is possible, and different Seasons could have different threats:

Darkins. The Void. Aurelion Sol. Xerath. Shadow Isles/Vile Maw. The Watchers. Noxus in general.

Lots of options out there.

Now, the Netflix original animes are often hit and miss...but if you've seen the Seven Deadly Sins anime, there are some that become gems...truly...truly outrageous gems...

I'll see if I cant write a pilot script involving Taric. :P

(Taric on a date)

(Cute guy that is probably ezreal): What's your profession? Taric: I serve life, but deal in death (Cute guy): Uh, cool. How would you describe yourself? Taric: Beauty and life. (Cute guy): Eh, maybe you could just drop me off at home? Taric: In the end, we only regret the chances we didn't take. (Cute guy): Fair point.

I think it would be awesome to have a Game of Thrones type League of Legends TV show. A story with multiple plot lines and characters that all weave together to create one masterpiece of a show. Let's get Riot and HBO to work together to create the best videogame TV show to ever exist.

Eh...

I dont want it to be "GoT ended, we need a new fantasy anime!" Especially with what happened to GoT at the end, this needs to be clearly its own.
