Aatrox - Can you just change his W to his old E?

Look this is my first ever post on the forums since i started playing this game back in season 1 and the only reason I'm posting is because the new Aatrox's W just doesn't seem to flow with his kit. I mean new Aatrox wants to land his Q's at the sweet spot right? well get this your current W helps you do that! how??? well there's this lined skill shot that can be blocked by minions and has a small hit box but if you land it you can snare your opponent after a period of time on the spot you hit them! but guess what after you actually manage to land it on some poor soul they have this mini game where they just run/dash to the sides for it go away!

All I'm saying is the ability is essentially useless why even bother using it when you can just E then Q then walk forward Q again and then E and Q then auto (this is an example if your a little bit of distance). But this is an scenario where your lane opponent isn't an idiot and just walks backwards from your Q's or just moves to the side etc. Hence why his W should help him land the Q combo.

So instead of having this useless W which doesn't even work on jungle camps, why not have his W be like his old E? I mean he has this big greatsword at the moment why not have his W be this:

Infernal Smite (Riot can probably come up with a better name)

Aatrox swings his blade in an upward arc sending forth unholy energy from his accursed blade in an line.

10 second cool down at ranks

Enemies hit are dealt 80//110/140/170/200 + (80% bonus ad) physical damage and are slowed by 30%/35%/40%/45%/50% for 2 seconds.

It's essentially his old E but instead of two lines converging on a singular point its just one line just have it like his old E except the one strike's hit box is slightly bigger.

So his new combo hit your W (and be rewarded because they're slowed) and land your Q without an E then E 2nd Q and then E again into 3rd Q.

In my head it sounds like it would run smoother with his current kit but obviously I don't have the ability to try and test this out.

Look all I can say is i'm a big fan of his current Q and E changes just not a big fan of his current W and ult and in all honesty what would make his ultimate feel more of a power up rather than an I press R run at people miss everything and die ability it should at least either make his Q animation's go faster or make his E's charge twice as fast. All I'm saying is how beast it would look for this massive darkin doing his sword moves in a really quick fashion or just dashing towards his opponents with uncanny speed (in his R form of course).
