Making a players age matter

Shouldn't be necessary to mention ways in real life how age effects what one is able to do. In single player games, such things don't matter. In multiplayer games, age was necessary to join many teams for many reasons. Of course, those who did not care were not effected, but there was a solution for those who did care. I am 29, and I would pay for freedom from children within the game. Perhaps an adult server or queue within the current server would be greatly appreciated.

and if an 11 year old says they are 30?

how about a 50 year old in a kids lobby...

not to mention most of the toxic people are actually the adults playing.

This is why proof should be necessary, just like other age restricted things are. I have not seen an 11 year old purchase cigarettes. My friend and I are actually discussing how the adults may be the most toxic people and that boggles me. Why would that be? How is it known what the age of the players is? I have seen what looks to be a name demanded by parents, such as "08 15 2004" but otherwise, how?

and what proof system can sort through hundreds of millions of players all from different countries with different languages and laws? I have seen many 11 year olds with cigarettes.

I hate to hear that, but I am not familiar with European society unfortunately, only the likely false things that are displayed on television. The proof system is why I offered to pay. I would also wait until a small group of people finished going through a simple form of proof. In Maryland, to get a handgun, there is a third layer of proof identity that takes 7 days. This is a deadly weapon and entire statewide quantity of people, and it only takes 7 days. Age only? Can't be hard. Perhaps an IQ minimum to reside on a server? Perhaps a jail server where the continuously reported people could play together? Perhaps I am suggesting things that have been spoken about endlessly over the years.
