I watched the RiverKIng video and decided to create a concept of what i think the champion will look like from the sketches in the video.

Zbrush and 3ds max, but mostly zbrush

I need to get my hands on that sexy Zbrush. I tried Sculptris, but it seems like more of a tool for just fooling around with. Any suggestions?

zbrush is the go to industry standard for sculpting characters. Riot uses zbrush.

I've seen many of Riot's sculpting videos including that one, and I think I actually watched the whole presentation that that video shown in. You probably know what I'm talking about. Well, I've had my eyes on Zbrush for a while now, but it's just way too expensive. Do you know of any free trials for it or something simiar?

hmm... no, zbrush doesn't give trials i don't think. they have sculptress or free bur its pretty bad and useless. see if you can get trial version of mudbox. its the 2nd leading sculpting software. i think if you're a college student you can get it free for 3 years along with maya or 3ds max (mx is what i used to make the teeth, hat, cane, jacket, buttons and even to carve out the mouth)

Hm, good work. If you could color him too that would make him even better (but you don't have to listen to me.) Maybe remove the belly button too? He's a spirit and all so.. ya know. But otherwise this is fantastic. You should apply for a job in this line of work.

Just going to point out some things I noticed in the video that arent present::

He appears to be wearing an actual waistcoat underneat the coat itself (think vest) His hands are two fingers and a thumb, like Jax, the center part of his coat needs to be brought up, so that he has more of a tailcoat effect, and it appears he has what looks like a "tadpole tail" *think stubby short little tail right smack dab in the middle of his bum.

Dude, you almost did a exact copy of the final model. I strongly suggest you try out for a job on Riot.

i wish, but i still have a lot to learn. i made a lot of mistakes tho i was working from blurry sketches in a video. wish i had a real concept art. i might re model him with a different skin and post as a concept.

For a few blurry images, you got really close to the final model. You have a talent. At least show to someone at Riot, so to at least make you has priority on the line.

I feel like a waist coat would compliment the look quite nicely. Amazing job, especially with very little to go on!

Looks amazing, but I think he would be a wee bit wider considering how big he seems in the video. Granted he can probably stretch.

yea, i noticed he was wider in the sketches but i kinda followed the proportions of gragas since LOL has a certain width hit box requirements so you cant have anything to wide, otherwise you can't avoid niddle spears and thresh hooks

Maybe like Zac, in certain animations of his spell casting he stretches, getting bigger etc. Not to mention the theory that he swallows people whole making him bigger.
